Could, pls, somebody tell me how I can test my microphone and camera BEFORE I start a conference? I have just installed zoom. After the installation there was some kind of a test. The camera seemed to be working, but the microphone did not. I clicked my profile, but it did not have any settings. I have only a basic account. Thank you.

How can I restore a zoom cloud recording which I have deleted from cloud recordings and from trash?
Had to replace my HD in my iMac and now Zoom backgrounds won't work. Running OS 12.6.5 Montery on a 4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 iMac. Every time I try to select a background, Zoom freezes. Can't use my custom backgrounds, can't blur, etc. Camera works fine in Google Meet and FaceTime. I've uninstalled Zoom several times and have the latest version. I also get the 'background not loading' error message and have to cancel loading a background. Is there a fix for this please? It was working just a few months ago.

I seem to have downloaded Zoom, but I cannot detect the meeting at all. I need some help getting connected.
I plan, schedule and host zoom meetings for my school. Most of my meetings require practice, so I schedule a waiting room for most of my meetings/events to discuss the agenda with co-hosts. There is a problem with the zoom interface and waiting rooms when in a meeting: - if an attendee joins the active meeting, they will appear in the waiting room, and their name will bump under my A simple fix would be: if I hit the mute button to mute a speaker, have another button come up that says "Do you want to mute the speaker?" That would help a lot. This has happened several times, and is a real problem for me and disturbs the flow of our presentations and makes me look bad. Anyone agree?
- if I am the host my name appears at the top of my participant list, and if a person is currently speaking/presenting to
the group (mic is live) their name comes next in the list.
name (host) in the participant list.
This is where the problem arises....if I go to click to "admit" that person their name will be bumped further down the participant list, with no problems. However, if another co-host clicks "admit" before me, the active speaker's name will replace the waiting room person in the participant list, and the option to "mute" the speaker automatically comes up in the exact same space as the "admit" button, and I unwittingly hit the mute button. Now the person speaking has no idea they are muted, I have to ask them to unmute themselves and they continue to speak, and when someone tells them they are muted no one has any idea how that person was muted and everyone is confused.
Tks! PJB

I'm trying to have people purchase a registration to my class every Saturday through GoHiLevel and an automatic Zoom link generated for them. I was not able to have more than one person join...it shows up as an appointment booked for the first person who bought and recieved a Zoom link. Not sure h to integrate the checking out in GoHILevel and Zoom sending a link to many people who buy for the class.

Dear Zoom team, I am writing to report a persistent issue I have been facing with your software. Whenever I start a meeting, a dark green box appears and disappears in the chat menu or every window I open that is not being shared. This issue has occurred on Windows 7 and Windows 11 operating systems. I have attached a video I took during a shared screen of a class, which shows the problem in action. Due to this issue, I have been unable to record good classes, and it has become a major challenge for me. I have been using Zoom for ten years with different accounts and have never encountered this problem until now. Despite trying various solutions, such as changing settings, reinstalling the software, updating my graphics card driver, and resetting my Windows, the issue remains unresolved and none of these methods has resolved the issue. As a loyal subscriber, I urge you to consider finding a permanent solution to this issue. I have submitted a report with ticket number 16889254 through two different accounts. However, I have only received repeated responses asking me to check my settings, which have not solved the problem. I implore you to prioritize your subscribers' needs and take prompt action to fix this problem. I hope to hear from you soon regarding a permanent solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, MehDi Bakhshi

I heard that with the free version of Zoom, "once 40 minutes have passed since the start of a meeting, you will be automatically removed, and then you won't be able to start a new meeting for 10 minutes." Is this true?
