Apparently Zoom just added a "Try new version" slider in the standard meeting scheduling popup accessible from the home screen of the desktop app:

I did not notice this until recently because I'm a Zoom admin and keep myself in a separate user group from the rest of my company, so it happened to be the case that everyone but me got access to this slider.  Anyway, I'd like to disable this slider and keep my users on the "old" version of of the scheduling popup.  I don't like that the new version hides the Meeting ID and Meeting Security options under "More Options", and I also don't like that it gives everyone who doesn't have their calendar connected the above-pictured yellow warning banner.  About 90% of my users don't have a connected calendar, and one of my users so far complained about this banner because they thought it would prevent them from scheduling meetings.

 

I've scoured the back-end looking for a setting that lets an admin disable this "new" scheduler functionality but couldn't find anything.  Before I bother my account rep, does anyone know if this is possible?

We're having an issue where users are clicking on the provided link and they are being redirected to a completely different session. The session they are being redirected to has nothing to do with them at all. So far it has happened (seemingly) random. 

Not sure how to capture this or track to give evidence to the issue.

Videoconferencing does not start after starting meetsig on windows 11 PC desktop app.
Also, when I press settings, the settings screen does not open.

Here is what we have tried
Clean uninstallation of zoom
Initialize the PC.

I used the same PC and logged in with a different Windows account and was able to use zoom.

I am considering the possibility that the problem is in the C drive or lower, but what should I do?

Change default language of cloud recording transcription

I need to set in advance the default language for automatic transcriptions generated in cloud recordings.

Is it possible?

At the moment transcripts for cloud recordings are always generated in English.  Regardless of the language spoken in the meeting!

 

I know that  the host can regenerate the transcipt in the right language but this is not what I'm interested in.

If I want to share the link to the recording and the transcipt (in the right language) I can't do this immediately.

I need before to change the language of the transcript and then to share the link.

We record our Zoom meetings to the Cloud and have them automatically backup to Dropbox.  Currently, 2 emails are receiving notifications that the recording is available - the email associated with the Zoom account and the email associated with the Dropbox account.  How can the email notifications be turned off?

Resolved! Meeting Controls to the top right of the Ipad

My ipad use to have the meeting controls in the top right of my iPad. Now, the toolbar is at the bottom of the iPad. How do I move the toolbar from the bottom of the iPad in Zoom to the top right corner of the iPad where it had been?

The Zoom Add-In for Outlook appears as an option to add Zoom meetings in Outlook 365 Calendar on the web, however, in Safari once you click to add a meeting, it asks to allow a new window for sign in. Once you enter your credentials it asks again to allow a new window and will ask for sign-in again. This is a continuous loop and will not allow you to ever actually add a meeting. The add-in functions properly in Google Chrome.

Resolved! Unable sound and microphone with Win11 desktop client, however Zoom extension is OK.

I can use Zoom desktop 6.3.x and Zoom extension with Chrome 131 on Win11 Pro 24H2.

I'm in trouble that unable sound and microphone with desktop client, however via Zoom extension and Chrome is OK for any Zoom meetings.

 

I tried Jameswalter's suggestion to divide this issue as follows link.

The result is; sound and microphone test is OK before connect computer audio on Zoom test meeting site, but to be disabled them after connect audio.

Can't See Slides Only on Phone

I need help solving a recurring issue of not being able to see a presenter's PPT when joining a Zoom meeting from the phone. If I join the meeting from my laptop I can see the slides just fine but when I join from my phone I can't see them anymore even if I change the view to gallery. The option to see the slides just isn't there. It seems to only happen in some meetings which leads me to believe the issue is in how the slides are being shared or in the settings of the Zoom account that is hosting the meeting.

For example tonight I joined one meeting from my phone and there was no way to see the PPT. Then I joined another meeting and could see the PPT just fine. In both cases I could see the PPT on my laptop. In both cases the presenter was a "Co-host" and was spotlighted/pinned. The only difference between the two meetings is that one was in focus mode and the other was not. However, I have joined meetings in focus mode before on my phone and been able to see the shared screen.

I even tested the issue with a friend who has an android (I have an iPhone), and neither of us could see the slides.

 

This is boggling my brain, please help!
