Hi,

I'm on the latest Zoom client (uninstalled old version and redownloaded and installed new latest version).

New account (to rule out old account issues).

The New Meeting and Join buttons are greyed out and nothing happens if I try and join a meeting from a link.  It just opens the app but nothing further.   I see a few people have added the same question with no answer so I don't hold out hope but this basically makes Zoom unusable.

Windows is up to date (windows 10).

Cannot remove Virtual Background from zoom portal

According to zoom guideline, we can reset the virtual background then all uploaded image will be deleted, but actually it left in the system. May I know how can I solve it? thx!

How to Block emojis on Participants Names?

Can you tell me how to block Participants to include emojis o their names?

I have downloaded a recording from a recent meeting and part of the file name is Recording.cutfile 

Normally it just says Recording

What would have caused this? I wasn't at the meeting, just storing the recording.

My issue is the following: I cannot have access to the breakout rooms, the little icon is not there at all in some of my mettings and is there in some others. I checked all the settings, deinstalled, reinstalled... it remains a mystery.

Recording problem.

I forgot to record a conference scheduled for yesterday (23 Aug 2023) from 5 PM to 5:45 PM.

I checked the "Recordings" menu on my account but there are not found any recordings.

Can I get it from zoom.us?

I am using the 5.11.9 (4300) build from AUR on Arch Linux with Wayland KDE plasma. The screen sharing works OK, and the screen recording works OK too. But the main issue right now is the disappearance of sharing control.

For any window W that coexists with the sharing control bar, closing W will make the sharing control disappear.

Here are some combinations that can reproduce the issue.

1. click on the "more" as shown in the attached picture, and click open and then close the chat/record on the computer/reactions/...
2. close the main zoom window (the one that shows the new meeting/schedule/...)

Need employee names instead of account owner name to show up

We are a small org (3 staff) and have a single zoom account for the business with one user. When my employees sign in, it shows my name (account owner) rather than theirs and they have to change it. I'm not sure what setting or place within zoom I need to change to rectify this. Thanks in advance for any help.

co-host can no longer record to their computer.

In the past as the Host (w/paid subscription) I could make a participant co-host, and she could record our meeting locally on her computer.  I never saw or received the recording.

 

For the last month, my co-host can no longer record to her computer.  Instead I now get a notice when we stop, telling me the CLOUD recording link will be sent to me!

 

I then have to forward her the link, she has to download the recording and this is aggravating for us both.

 

Why was this option changed with a recent update?  Is there a setting I can use (or she can) to allow a co-host to record on their side only?

  • (my) Device type: iMac (Retina 4K, 2017)
  • Zoom version 5.15.7 (about to update to 5.15.10)

Organization Outlook doesnt Synronizing our Zoom Booking/Invites

Hi all, 

 

I am very new to this system and i am looking for a solution. 

 

1) Our company send invites to this room but the zoom room is not getting any respond on the Zoom room Scheduler nor Thinksmart Hub Lenovo zoom room. 

2) Where else when i invites through contact, colleague also didnt get the email respond too. 

 

3) If i create a new meeting, sending invites via email options with external email domain, the external client email is receiving the meeting information to join in. 

 

4) On the Zoom room scheduler touch panel, if we "Reserve" the meeting physically, it is synronizing to the  Thinksmart Hub Lenovo zZoom Room but however we are unable to delete the meeting through the touch panel physcially. Error code " Failed to delete meeting" 

 

Anyone can help what kind of configuration do i need to do at the backend in Zoom Portal or 365 Microsoft Account?
