I had upgraded Zoom from basic version to Pro, but my desktop client stay as basic version without the features of Pro. I reinstalled desktop client on my laptop, it still doesn't work. Any suggestions here? Thanks a lot.
Problem: I don't see the Zoom app icon in System Settings>Privacy & Security>Camera to provide the required permissions. - Check the Camera permission tab in System Settings>Privacy & Security with another app (Skype). It works as expected. After installation, the Skype app icon appeared in the Camera permission tab and I'm able to grant permissions for the app. Also, I can make a call with a video with the Skype app and Google Meet.
I've tried:
- Check another permission in System Settings>Privacy & Security>Microphone - it works as expected. I can see the Zoom app icon and allow the app to use Mic. Accordingly, I can make a call with Zoom, but without Video.
- Reinstall Zoom. Uninstall it completely and install it from the stretch. Same issue.
- Uninstalling the Zoom app with the CleanMyMac app doesn't help too.
App version
I use the latest version of Zoom 5.15.5 (20753)
Mac OS has also the latest update 11.7.8 (20G1351)
The camera is built into the iMac.
So, it looks like the Mac OS works as expected but I can't grant video permissions for the Zoom app. Any help/insights would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know why I lost my standard recurring meeting for my family zooms every Sunday. Anyway, having trouble starting a new, recurring meeting: can't select period length beyond 20 weeks!! I used to be able to select my meeting password and now I can't do that either! There must be some software updates that have changed the way I have interfaced for the last 2 years. Also, I now can't log in using my standard password. It's xxxxxx'd out and there is no show button. I have to login using my Apple ID - what a mess. I tried going into my Zoom profile to change my password but can't find where to do that; also can't change my meeting id and password back to my original credentials but can't do that either. How can I change my login password and where do I do that?

Zoom did an auto update this week and in the process disabled my outlook calendar link. If I try to link a meeting to my calendar it comes up with an error message. If I try to link either Office 365 or Google calendars following the recommended procedure, the process fails. Google seems to just do nothing despite the log in process working. Office 365 fails to recognise my user name despite the fact that my user name and password is working fine for all other Microsoft apps. I spent 1.5 hours on a chat with Microsoft last night and the conclusion was that this is a zoom issue. Any suggestions or solutions out there? iMac running Ventura.

I've forgotten my old password. Whenever I click "Forgot Password" It takes me to the zoom website and logs me in through my school portal. But when I go to the section "Password" and click Edit I have to enter my OLD PASSWORD. This is so absurd I forgot my password so how am I suppose to magically remember it to change it after clicking "Forgot Password". At this point to get help has been a maze I don't even know if this is for real help or just random user suggestions.

It appears to me that every window on Windows remembers it's last location and size when the application is closed. Except Zoom Meetings. It opens this huge oblong box covering 2/3rds of my screen every. single. time. I move it to the side and and resize it to get my work done. Restart, boom, back to the center. I know, first world problems, but seriously, why can't Zoom perform like every other application? (Don't get me started about the "X" in the upper right corner not closing an application. I'm seriously thinking this app is getting a kardashian complex (huge resource usage, always has to be the center of attention, can't believe everyone doesn't know who it is..)
Yes, I've shift-closed, ctrl-closed, closed following any other article I could find that would give me a clue.

I had scheduled a Zoom meeting for 8/10, but I have a problem with audio. After trying several suggestions to fix the audio I uninstalled Zoom and reinstalled it on my laptop. I no longer see the 8/10 meeting in the scheduled Zoom section, yet all the link and contact info still appears on my Google calendar. I need clarification. Will I need to reschedule to 8/10 meeting? Thanks

Hello there, We are in the process of creating a bot that can directly retrieve real-time transcripts from Zoom meetings, similar to what Fireflies offers. We've dedicated the past two days to researching this matter. However, we have not yet identified a suitable solution. We would greatly appreciate any suggestions or solutions that anyone could provide to assist us in this endeavor. Thanks in advance.

Hello! I've received this email from a supossed marketing agency to join them for an intro call. They sent me a Zoom invite over email, but they're asking for my zoom link back, is this real? I have never had to send my own personal link in order to being able to connect as they say? "Okay but you need to send me your zoom link also to connect" ThanksK
