I was running Bitdefender Total Security on my Windows PC and the Zoom client would take minutes to launch and starting or joining meetings would also take 1 to 2 minutes (the first time). The Zoom client would indicate "not connected", or "connecting", or "not responding". Sometimes during a meeting, my video would freeze or starting to share would freeze for 1 to 2 minutes. We have multiple Zoom Pro licenses for business presentations, Webinars, and meetings and this was obviously not acceptable.

I tried disabling all Bitdefender services from the Bitdefender dashboard, but this had no effect. It was only after I totally uninstalled Bitdefender and reverted back to the Windows Defender did the problem instantly go away.

Anybody having issues with Zoom and Bitdefender? Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi there! I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue but I integrated Zoom and my Google calendar, and created many events with no issue. However, when I went to edit one of my recurring events it created a new one everyday and sent invites to everyone automatically. Even after I deleted this meeting in the Meeting portal in Zoom, the meeting still shows up for everyday on my Google calendar. I tried deleting directly from my Google calendar but I have to do it individually and it won't allow me to delete the event all at once. It's incredibly annoying and seems like a huge glitch in the integration feature.

I tried contacting Google support but haven't received an answer. Also since Zoom caused the events to show up on my calendar everyday, I would think this under Zoom's jurisdiction. It's incredibly annoying because I've tried escalating this to Zoom support but my account doesn't allow for me to receive live chat support or phone support.

I can create a meeting, but the meeting does not show up. No invitations sent.

I cannot find a way to troubleshoot and need help. I can fill in the Schedule A Meeting field, but when I save it, it doesn't save as a meeting, and invitees do not receive the invitation.

I am an admin in Zoom and I work in the helpdesk.

Occasionally I have requests to delete bookings on behalf of the CEO/PA to free up a room. I used to be able to just right click delete them in outlook but now I can't and I dont have permission to edit the meeting to send a cancellation. How do I give myself proper permissions in zoom to be able to delete any meeting from any person I need to delete..?

My google searches only really brought me to articles about assigning someone to be a delagate for my own meetings etc.

How do I eliminate my last name from showing? It's not on my Zoom profile.

I am the listed "owner" of a Pro Plan account, with two licenses, but the account was setting up by a previous employee (since left the agency).

I have run into several meetings settings that are grayed out with the disclaimer "Locked by Admin" -- as the site owner, I should be able to change these, but I can't find any way to change that lock. More specifically, I tried to turn on file sharing via Chat and that setting is locked.

I've noticed that a few of the participants in our meetings have black borders on either side of their picture. Does anyone know how to adjust this? Thank you in advance

Our Church Zoom prayer group has an unwanted visitor who has somehow gotten ahold of the Meeting ID and Password and keeps trying to enter the Zoom Room.  The first time he entered the room, he was indecently exposed.  He has not been given screen time since, however, he uses different screen names each time he logs in and tries to gain access.   We have reported the incident to the police, but we have been unable to identify him, how he got the Meeting ID, etc.

Is there a security feature that might be able to help us track him down and have the police take care of him?

Thank you.

Heather
