On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

video will not turn on during a meeting

My video and mute buttons do not wok when in a meeting with certain instructor but works the rest of time with others. The video and mute buttons works for rest of attendees.  she is recording meeting so is there something I need to fix.

I had the exact same problem today and two other times this month. 

I joined other  Zoom meetings this month and the video and audio worked.

I'm able  to start Zoom meetings.  I've been a Zoom paid subscriber since August 2020.

I upgraded to Zoom 5.17.2 earlier this month. Please share the fix info as soon as possible. I have a class on Saturday morning. The Zoom link and audio and video work on my phone.
