When trying to create a new whiteboard I always get the message that I have reached the limit of editable whiteboards.

A check for existing whiteboards shows that there are no whiteboards in my account.

The message even shows the name of a whiteboard dated in 2023, which I can’t find.

All existing whiteboards should be deleted so that I can start from scratch with 3 new editable whiteboards.

I need the functionality and should be able to use it with my basic account.

If I create a new whiteboard during a meeting, we can both use it without a problem for that meeting. The next day the whiteboard still shows normal status with no View-Only tag.

A week later, when we meet again, the whiteboard has a View-Only tag added to it automatically without me even logging into zoom or doing anything in between that time. This happens every week when I meet with my teacher.

It can not be removed, you can not choose Collaborating when opening the board because it thinks I am not the owner of my own board.

You can not touch (iPad) or click (PC) on the View-Only displayed at the top to change it in any way.

You must copy the board and create a new one, which will again become View-Only automatically after a week's time before the next meeting.

How in the world do you remove this tag or prevent it from ever being applied to your board in the first place and how do you allow yourself to choose Collaborating.

Also how do you mute the volume on the iPad so you don't hear yourself talking when using a tablet as a whiteboard during a meeting. The tablet is just for drawing on the whiteboard, it shouldn't be trying to host the entire meeting as the PC is doing this job.

I went to open my WhiteBoard that I have been using for the last 6 month to organize research and now all of the sudden it won't open. I received the error message: "There is an error loading recent version of the page. Use version history to recover previous version of the page." But I have looked everywhere and I can't find a version history link or button that will do this. I have also submitted a help ticket and I have gotten zero response. Can someone please help me recover 6 months of my work??

I teach kids who need to be able to scroll without writing on the Whiteboard. I also need to be able to turn on and off their ability to write on the whiteboard. After using this feature in my online classroom for a while, it now appears to be missing.

As I recall, in the past I’ve been able to simply turn off the ability for a child to write on the whiteboard: easily found and easily done. Help files direct me to the three dots (More) dropdown menu, where “disable annotation” should be one of the options. However, my “More” dropdown does not include “disable annotation.” I’ve searched every menu and control I can find without success. This feature is absolutely necessary for my daily work.

Hello Zoom Community,

We’re experiencing an issue with a Whiteboard that was previously owned by our company.

After removing and reassigning one of our users, no one on our team—including me as the account admin—can access this Whiteboard.

We still have the last shareable link, but it’s now inaccessible to everyone in the workspace.

If anyone @All  has insights or knows the steps to restore access, we’d greatly appreciate your help!

Additional Details for Troubleshooting

  • The Whiteboard was originally created by a user who has since been removed from our Zoom account.
  • After reassigning that user’s license to someone else, the Whiteboard no longer appears under “My Whiteboards” for any member of our team (including the admin).
  • We tried accessing it via the last shareable link we have, but we receive an error or a “no permission” message.
  • We’ve already checked Whiteboard settings, user permissions, and admin privileges, but haven’t found a solution.

Thank you in advance.

Unable to Load this Whiteboard. Error Code:3

When the teacher open Whiteboard during video meeting, I cannot see anything.

When I opened the " Whiteboard" function in zoom, it just shows:   Unable to load this whiteboard. Error code: 3.

What's happening?

Hello,

I am using breakout rooms as part of an online training course. I would like the participants in the breakout rooms to be able to use (edit) a whiteboard that is pre-populated with an image. Each breakout room needs their own whiteboard, but the image is the same. Is there an easy way to do this?

As a workaround, I have tried to join each breakout room and upload the image myself, but it does not always work and it is time consuming. Is there a fix for this?
