We recently converted to Zoom Phone. We acquired three different types of desktop phone through HaaS (Yealink T54W, Yealink T58A, and Yealink VP59 Zoom Phone Appliance). 

 

When transferring a call from the T54W or T58A, the incoming caller is automatically placed on hold and the audio recording that we selected for Hold Music is played - as one would expect. When transferring from the Zoom desktop app for Mac, the Zoom iOS app, or the Yealink VP59 Zoom Phone Appliance (hardphone that runs the Zoom app under Android), pressing Transfer does not automatically place the user on hold. The caller can hear what you are doing until you dial the transfer-to number and complete the transfer. This is obviously not ideal. I have figured out that I can place the call on hold first and then tap transfer which does work. 

 

Has anyone come across this too, or know if an enhancement request has been submitted.

Phone cannot connect

On my office wifi network, the Zoom Desktop and android phone app can connect to the phone service.  However, I cannot connect on my home wifi network on both my android an laptop.  Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

Hello everybody,

 

We recently switched to Zoom Phone in our company. All in all it works great but one issue I noticed is that company-wide contacts only seem to be recognized by the app (i.e., the name only shows up) the moment a call goes out or comes in. As soon as a call enters the history, only its number is displayed and the name is lost. This is a pity especially for our reception desk who have a lot of missed calls and would like to know who they are going to call back.

 

Since the names are correctly displayed when the call comes in, this seems more like a bug than a feature request to me. Or am I doing something wrong? Does anybody else have similar experiences?

 

I'm attaching a screenshot which shows how one contact shows with the name when I dial it (an incoming call would look the same) but only appears as a number in the history on the left (second from top). Note that company-internal contacts are always displayed with the name, hence the one exception (third from top).

Site-Wide Parking Lot Visibility (Phone > Lines)

I would like my users to see all parked calls in their site when they go to Phone > Lines in the Zoom app.

The purpose of a parking lot is to quickly answer calls and park them in the parking lot so someone else in the site can pick it up and help the customer. Currently, you can only see your own parked calls which is very limiting.

 

If users can see all parked calls for their site they can see how long all callers have been parked and pick up the customer that's been parked the longest. This provides a lot of value for customers with high call volume where a receptionist fields most of the calls and parks them for the sales team to pick up.

 

Does anyone know of a way to see all parked calls for your site?  If not, would you find value in this feature if you use the parking lot feature?

Good day!

 

 Four of our members in zoom organization are deactivated their zoom account by the zoom. And we already submit an appeal to activate the account last August 20,2021. May I ask, how many days zoom need to review the appeal to activate the account. And also can we ask the specific reason why zoom deactivated the account of a innocent Grade School Student.

 

Thank you.

 

 we really need a response because those account are using in online class.
