Resolved! Call my phone - not ringing, but accepted

Recently Zoom calling my phone for audio results in "accepted", but the phone never rings. So who is accepting the Zoom connection if my phone is not? This ALWAYS fails on first call, and works on second call. How to get Zoom to fix?

I have recently come across an issue using my zoom phone.

 

I will enter a phone number ex. 415-555-1234

Zoom will automatically enter a (1) at the beginning of the number but it is not visible and, therefore, you cannot remove it.

 

I am having issues because sometimes I get an automated msg that says "the number you have dialed is not long distance. You do not need to add a 1 in front of the number" and then the call won't go through.

Just now, I had a voicemail automated attendant that said "in order to leave a message for the client, please enter their phone number and area code" - this is to cut back on spam messages I assume. When I entered the number, the auto attendant said " 1 415 555 1234" is not a valid number. I didn't enter the 1.  Zoom did this on it's own.

We recently set up audio intercoms for all users.  When we click on the intercom icon on the lines tab, nothing happens for about 10 seconds and then the system places a phone call to the user selected.  Neither party's phone beeps, as they should.  Neither party is one the phone, etc.  All phones have Zoom devices selected to receive intercom.  What am I missing?

Resolved! Transferring Calls

When someone transfers a call, the caller ID come up as the person who transferred the call. Is there away to make the caller ID come up as the person who made the call??

Zoom Phones AUD/NZ

Yesterday our phones worked perfectly, today we have incoming calls but when we answer the line goes dead, same happens when we call out. So frustrating and upsetting for our clients, it really isn't good enough.All we did was download the 'new' desk... Show more

I want to limit the number of staff members that can be connected at the same time

Resolved! Call flow Issue with Call Queue

Trying to get this call flow to work (see image attached) but if no agent is in the call queue (eg; out to lunch)

It gives the following voice greeting "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, good bye" Then hangs up instead of going to the Auto Receptionist (AnsweringService)

 

Have tried setting the overflow of the Call Queue (see attached) to go to the Auto Receptionist (AnsweringService) but no change.

 

Is this a limitation of Call Queues or should I be using a different call flow to accomplish this flow?

When will blocking 'anonymous' callers be an option?

I realize there is another recent post about blocking anonymous callers - yet it's marked resolved without actually being a resolution.

 

I've just received 5-6 back-to-back calls from "anonymous" Caller ID, all leaving the same automated message about 'press one to complete your order". It's ridiculous that I cannot block these.

 

When is Zoom going to code something into their setup that allows us to block these? It's becoming a rampant issue.

Auto vmail hangup when there is a "beep"

I am wondering if it is possible to set up Zoom vmail to end the recording when it detects a solid "beeping" sound?  We are getting 5 minutes of a recording "beeping".

Personal call went to Zoom voicemail

I have a user that got a call on her personal cellphone # but the voicemail appeared in Zoom voicemail. No idea how that could happen!
