关于Audio conferencing

我们开启Zoom会议,台湾的朋友说点击链接进不去。我看后台设置,启用呼叫国家/地区。增加台湾,显示100美元/月。我想问,是不是100美元,按上面的每分钟计费,到了100美元就结束还是继续收费? We started the Zoom meeting, and my friends in Taiwan said that they couldn't get in by clicking on the link. I checked the settings and tried to enable... Show more

We started the Zoom meeting, and my friends in Taiwan said that they couldn't get in by clicking on the link. I checked the settings and tried to enable the calling country/region. We want to add Taiwan, the fee is $100 / month. I want to ask, is it $100, billed per minute above, ends at $100 or continues to charge?

Can this plan be for an individual who isn't in a business and wants a home office phone for people to call during work hours?

I own a VoIP IP phone - Yealink T46s with locally hosted FreePBX. I wanted to finally switch to a cloud services provider that would allow my "office" or "work" phone to be active 24/7 through the cloud so anyone could call me using my work number rather than personal.

Please let me know if this plan is what I should choose for my needs.

We are looking to map a users secondary emergency address from their home address in Okta.

Im told this can be done via API, we have been unsuccessful thus far.

We could run the API and It would add an emergency address "As" the user, but never added it to their profile. So  it was just sitting in the emergency address pool, which doesn't help us.

Has anyone accomplished this? and can you please help by letting me know how?

User is on latest version, they cannot answer inbound calls. They can place outbound calls that ring then go nowhere. They are using the desktop app via a laptop and there have been zero changes to network/proxy/firewall settings. The PC is 100% online. I can't find this error code anywhere. Any ideas?

I do not even see 805 as an error code type on the list here https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360038341071-Error-codes-for-Zoom-Phone

We had a user that started getting bombarded with spam calls recently. Every one is from a different number. Most are verified. She was getting like one every 30 minutes for two days straight. I had to have her turn on DND and some other client settings just so they didn't disrupt her.

I bumped the spam detection up to high and set the action from nothing to route them to VM. When calls come in I notice they don't get labeled with a new type of "spam" in the users call history until the user manually blocks the number from their client. We noticed the calls slow to 1-3 a day after doing this, but I was thinking perhaps the the bot just moved on to a new target.

  • Does Zoom show all calls in the users history including ones picked up by the spam filter?
  • Do calls dynamically get detected and marked as spam before they make it to the users client, or do calls only get marked as spam after at least one user reports the number?

I opened a ticket with Zoom and they basically just said change the users DID number or start blocking entire area codes. That would mean blocking legit numbers too or running out of ported numbers once one becomes a target. Not to mention the user would need to circulate their new number.

Right now I have the user forwarding all calls to voicemail. From there they can manually block bot calls with minimal disruption during the day at some point.

Is there a better way to manage this here or am I pretty much SOL at this point?

I am an individual. I do not own or run a business. I got a Zoom phone so I could talk and text and hold unlimited Zoom meetings with my family across the country. My account type is Pro (Named Host). I am the Owner and Admin.

Like all the other Zoom phone users, I received multiple emails about setting up a brand and a campaign so I can continue to use SMS.

I don't see how to set this up as an individual (not a business).

People in other threads are referring people to Setting up Zoom SMS with 10DLC Compliance for conversational messaging. That page says:

If you are currently using Zoom Phone SMS as a conversational (person-to-person) messaging tool, you can follow the guidelines below to set up your campaign. This will allow you to set up your account to work similarly to how it did before 10DLC registration was required.

Great! So I start following the instructions. The first step is to create your brand. Step 6 of creating your brand is:

In the Brand Summary page, enter the following:

  • Legal Company Name
  • DBA/Brand Name (if applicable)
  • Your Company’s Legal Form.
  • Tax Number, ID, or EIN (Employer Identification Number)
  • Your Business Location Address
    • Select or enter your Country of Registration.
    • Enter your business address, city, and zip code.

There are several problems with these instructions:

  1. I am not a company and do not have a Legal Company Name.
  2. The only options for Legal Form are the following, none of which apply to an individual:
    • Private Profit
    • Public Profit
    • Non Profit
    • Government
  3. I am not going to provide my Social Security Number to Zoom.

Is there a FAQ or specific instructions for how an individual is supposed to fill this out to keep SMS working?
