Unable to complete Zoom for Lighting Setup

I have been working through the process and documentation to upgrade our Zoom for Salesforce plugin to the newer Zoom for Lightning plugin. I've been through the various steps to install it into our Salesforce org from the AppExchange, and then working through the Zoom documentation to customize it. When I get to the instructions for Setting up user access for the Zoom for Salesforce Lightning app, I look in Salesforce Setup at Manage Connected Apps, but Zoom does not show up there.

So when my users try to log in to the Zoom call center within Salesforce, from the Utility Bar, they see a message: "Warning: The current product is not active."

I tried opening a ticket with Zoom Support, but they just sent me here to the Forums. I'm hoping someone has an idea of what I might be missing. Thank you.

Hi @nathandunn,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, it sounds like whoever picked up your support ticket didn't understand what your request was and closed it out when they shouldn't have (this is definitely something we should be providing standard support for).

Moving forward, if you'd like to open another support case and push for support through there, please reference this Community post as I can confirm as a Tier 2 TSE at Zoom that we should be providing support for this.

I do want to call out that this support article is not actually for the Zoom for Salesforce Lightning app, this is for the Zoom for Salesforce app which was deprecated on July 2nd, 2024 but the article is just mislabeled. This doesn't mean that it's entirely useless, we just need to update a few pieces to match the naming of our currently supported integration. Below should be the information necessary to connect the remaining dots.

The app for the new integration is named Zoom Integrations Oauth. The permission sets for the new integration are Zoom Admin (without the description), Zoom Event User (for Zoom Events and Sessions), Zoom Meeting User (for Zoom Meetings), Zoom Phone User (for Zoom Phone), Zoom Webinar User (for Zoom Webinars), and Zoom Revenue Accelerator (for Zoom Revenue Accelerator).

The Zoom Integrations Oauth app in the Manage Connected Apps section of Salesforce Setup will not appear until you have gone to Connected Apps OAuth Usage and click the Install button to the right of the Zoom Integrations Oauth app. Once you have done this, you should be able to continue with that support article with the above context in mind instead of the permission sets and names mentioned in the support article (until we get the article updated).

If you have any further questions or concerns on this topic, please open a new support case! If it gets closed out, please send a response and open the case back up as again, we provide support through the standard channels for this integration.

Best,
TSENick
