I use an Insta360 Link 2C camera, and whenever I join a Zoom meeting, my video appears briefly (about 1 second) before the image disappears, even though the camera light indicates it's still active. I’ve updated to the latest camera driver and Zoom version, and I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including checking camera privacy settings, reinstalling Zoom, and switching USB ports. The camera works perfectly in other applications, so this seems specific to Zoom. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this issue is very frustrating.

Hi,

In the past few weeks, within the first 5 mins of most Zoom sessions I'm hosting, the connection cuts out (despite both my own and my clients' internet connection being totally fine). Initially it just glitches and the video freezes, and then connection is lost. I've taken to exiting the session and re-starting it, and am asked if I want to 'reclaim host', which I do. Then there are two of 'me' (as in, one with just my name and video off) in the space with my client for a few mins, until the other 'me' disappears. Has anyone else experienced this / has a solution? It's quite disruptive to sessions!
Thanks,

Beth

Zoom locking/freezing up

Dear Zoom,

It seems every meeting we have lately, the zoom platform freezes up.  This is becoming an issue for our foundation during board meetings.  Is there anything we can do to minimize the freezing up.

Thank you,

The Warren Alpert Foundation

Hi,

I was unable to assign a co-host when generating the zoom meeting.

Checking my settings, and found that Under 'In Meetings(Basic)' -- 'Co-host' is disabled. It shows 'locked by admin' (pasted below).

Meeting > In Meeting (Basic)

Co-host

Allow the host to add co-hosts. Co-hosts have the same in-meeting controls as the host.

Locked by admin

How can I unlock it and enable to function?

Thanks!

Hello,
when I host a Zoom meeting and start a screen share, the participants always see a black bar at the top. This is the zoom bar for me. Even if a pop-up window appears that another participant wants to join the meeting, the other participants see this as a black box. I've attached an image as an example. I've already looked through all the settings, updated the Zoom client, but I just can't get this to go away. I work on Windows 10 Pro. Can someone help or give a tip here? Thanks!

Resolved! Local Recordings - "double_click_to_convert_01"

Usually the immediate after session, automatic recording conversion process creates three files: 1) "recording.conf" file type CONF; 2) "audio 1234567890" file type MPEG-4 Audio; and, 3) "video 1234567890" file type MP4.  But now the after session, automatic recording conversion process is creating es three files, like: 1) "zoomver.tag" file type TAG; 2) "double_click_to_convert_01" file type Zoom Recording File; and, 3) "double_click_to_convert_02" file type Zoom Recording File.  When I double click on the files the resulting conversion process creates TMP files, like: audio 1234567890.m4a.tmp and video 1234567890.mp4.tmp, neither of which are recognizable as media files.  This is a problem preventing me from sharing the session recording.  I tried the Zoom Support chat line and they ended up creating a ticket but so far I have not gotten a solution or explanation.

Without the native window frame I can't access window manager controls like "this window visible on all workspaces".  Once upon a time Chrome did this, too, but allowed the native window frame to be enabled via Settings. I can't find any such in Zoom settings.

Any workarounds?
