We’ve had Zoom meetings with family at same time each week for about two years.  Yesterday, despite sending multiple invites and cancellations, none were received by family members.  We even asked another party to issue the meeting link, but that also fell on stony ground. We decided to call it a day and try today. 

 

Miraculously, all the emails were received today😡😡

 

We’ve had the odd video and audio glitch, but nothing like this. 

Clearly a glitch in system/servers overwhelmed yesterday? 

Has this happened to others?

Landscape vs Portrait

My video is showing Landscape only. Although I have changed it to portrait several times and rebooted. Same landscape screen. Anyone out there to provide guidance. I'm on a Mac Pro.

Unable to add alternate host

Hello

 

When I schedule a meeting I am unable to add my colleague as an alternate host. My colleague and I both have paid licenses AND are on the same account. So the error has got it completely wrong.

Uploading a video

I was supposed to use the zoom application to record a video. 

 

I recorded with my phone and thought i could upload the video to obtain a zoom link. Any thoughts on how i can do this?

Can't turn volume down in meetings

Why?

My phone volume won't turn it down

There is no settings button (in settings) for volume 

Only a mute button

Zoom recording downloading and disappeared

I was in the process of downloading my recording of the zoom meeting and I touched the corner of the screen and it disappeared...how do I get it back

External webcam is lagging

I recently purchased an external webcam and have issues with the video lagging on Zoom only. I have no issues with my integrated webcam on my dell laptop and Zoom and have no issues with the webcam and other programs. My internet connection is great.... Show more

I recently purchased an external webcam and have issues with the video lagging on Zoom only. I have no issues with my integrated webcam on my dell laptop and Zoom and have no issues with the webcam and other programs. My internet connection is great. I have been attempting to adjust settings on the webcam, my computer, and Zoom and have had no luck fixing the lag.

"Viewers can download" recordings automatically selected: how to disable?

After class, I always share the recording in case students want to review anything, but I do not want them to be able to download the recordings.The "Share Settings" menu just changed, and now the "Viewers can download" option is automatically select... Show more

After class, I always share the recording in case students want to review anything, but I do not want them to be able to download the recordings.

The "Share Settings" menu just changed, and now the "Viewers can download" option is automatically selected. Is there any way to disable this for all recordings/meetings without having to do it on every individual recording that I share?
