On my MacBook Pro, my zoom client regularly boots my blue tooth earphones out and chooses a different speaker. The earphones work on other apps with no problem at the same time.

Running latest version. Earphones are Phonak Lumity 90 hearing aides -- which work better than any other bluetooth ear buds when they are working

My meetings have been freezing for 3-5 seconds at a time (on both my end and the other participants' end) every several minutes. I work remotely and this is VERY inconvenient for me and the clients I work with -- we miss out on what each other is saying and have to repeat constantly.

My WiFi connection is stable. No other apps have issues for me. It's been happening to me since I bought a new computer (Surface Laptop 7 with Snapdragon OS). 

How can I resolve this issue? I've updated my computer, updated Zoom, uninstalled and then re-installed the Zoom app, and contacted my internet provider to run diagnostics. 

Any help is appreciated.

There is an earlier post from 2023 on this: Tor and Bittorent used by Zoom? - Zoom Community - but unfortunately doesn't definitely answer the question.  I've been unable to find the answer on Zoom's support pages.

We are receiving alerts that Zoom.exe is using Tor/Bittorrent Ports (9001, 9030, 9040, 9050, 9051, 9150).  When checking the .exe FileHash it corresponds with the current file has for zoom.exe, uploading the .exe to sites like VirusTotal show it's safe.

I check with the end user's when this happens and have not been able to pinpoint what triggers it.

If anyone has any information, that would be great.  We'll be blocking the ports and we'll see what that does but I wanted to see if anyone had any additional information for the use of these ports.

Lately, we've been experiencing frequent freezing and lagging, which makes it difficult to collaborate effectively on our projects. It seems to happen more often when we're sharing screens or going over complex devops software tools like Jenkins or Kubernetes.

I’ve tried some basic troubleshooting steps, such as checking my internet connection and closing unnecessary applications, but the problem persists.

1. What troubleshooting methods have worked for you when facing freezing issues in Zoom?
2. Are there particular settings in Zoom that can help optimize performance during technical presentations?
3. Do you have any hardware recommendations for team members who regularly participate in these meetings?

I'm part of an organization that has standing Zoom Rooms our members can enter at any time. We have classes throughout the week in these rooms. 

During class, everyone can hear me perfectly fine, and we can talk back and forth with one or two people's microphones unmuted.

However, occasionally, when a particular person unmutes their microphone, suddenly, no one can hear my voice. My microphone is still unmuted, and I still see the "green level meter" move within the microphone icon, however, no one can hear me. 

The issue is often resolved by requesting everyone to mute their microphones, and only one person at a time unmute their mic when speaking, then quickly mute themselves afterward.

This issue occurs sporadically, but often enough that I remind all of the students to keep their microphones muted at the beginning of each class. Multiple instructors all have this same sporadic issue.

What is going on? I'm on a Mac Book Pro late 2018 model. On Zoom v6.1.11. This has happened to me on multiple Zoom versions. It also happens to others in our organization on Windows and macOS computers.

The only quick solution I've found is to use the "Mute All except host" feature to mute everyone else.
