Greetings, I belong Darbar Academy,  an online school which teaches Indian Classical music using Zoom as a virtual classroom. Recently, fellow students have had difficulty turning on orginal sound for musicians when attending class via phone. This seems to be true for iPhones and androids. These students were previously able to turn on original sound easily from their phones. Please share any insights you may have regarding this problem. Thank You!

Hi, I'm trying to troubleshoot this for a friend

They are using an acer spin chromebook

Whenever they connect to zoom via browser or zoom play store app, they get the above error when other users create a whiteboard (Collaboration server handshake failed)

The popup for the error has a "dashboard" hypertext link in blue but this link doesn't open anything

Also, my RAISE HAND icon is now buried under the MORE (3 dots) and no longer easily accessed on the bottom of my screen. How do I bring my RAISE HAND feature back to the bottom of the screen as well?

Thank you

I recorded a Zoom meeting, but the exported MP4 file does not include the speaker's video or participant views. However, the recording folder includes a file named double_click_to_convert_01. I suspect this file might contain speaker video perspectives or other view options.

Here is the file list in my recording folder:

  • audio1264568021.m4a
  • video1264568021.mp4
  • video1264568021.vtt
  • double_click_to_convert_01
  • double_click_to_convert_02
  • closed_caption.txt
  • chat.txt
  • recording.conf
  • zoomver.tag

My questions are:

  1. Does double_click_to_convert_01 contain video recordings of participants or speaker views?
  2. How can I convert or use this file to check if it includes the speaker's video?
  3. If this file does not include speaker views, is there any way to retrieve that perspective from the current recording files?

I would appreciate step-by-step guidance or advice on how to retrieve the speaker's video. Thank you!

Hi Team,

there is a new Release for VMware Horizon Client available since christmas.
This release (https://customerconnect.omnissa.com/downloads/details?downloadGroup=CART25FQ4_WIN_2412&productId=1562&rPId=118884)  got renamed from VMware to Omnissa. This also impacted the installed path location on Windows device.

"C:\Program Files\Omnissa\Omnissa Horizon Client\horizon-client.exe"

If you now want to installed the Zoom VDI plugin it will not detected anymore the installed "VMware Horizon Client". So Zoom VDI optimatization can't be used in a Horizon VDI environment.

Is Zoom already working on a new release to support the lastest Omnissa Client for Windows?

Thanks a lot,
Eric
