My sister received a new IPad for Christmas and during our Zoom meeting, her camera kept zooming in and out even though she wasn’t moving at all. My IPad is a year old and I had the same thing happen once, but hers just wouldn’t stop. Have you heard of this issue? If so, what is happening?

Morning, I suspect there is a pretty straightforward solution to an issue we’re having but so far we have not been to solve it. I run a research agency and we have clients that produce Zoom links that we then send out to participants for various projects. Recently we’ve had issues whereby the links that would usually take you to the meeting instead take you to another program asking you to create an email address. My client says they’re not doing anything differently to how they usually would but half of all links aren’t working as they should. Looking at the links then ones causing issues start with mailto: rather than being a hyperlink. Can someone suggest what is going wrong at set up please? TIA

I have Windows 11 with the latest updates. When I join a meeting, everything will be fine for a while, then it will freeze up and then exit Zoom. Sometimes it will automatically join the meeting again, but it will soon crash again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom but it still does not work. It works fine on my tablet and phone so I suspect it is something with my desktop. Will someone help, please?

I am writing this because I tried to get help from Zoom and locate some information about this issue and found nothing. AI continues to insist that Zoom does not use 2 passcodes. I tried to join a meeting manually using the meeting id and numeric passcode for a meeting texted to me. (it was easier than sending link by email). What I learned is the numeric passcode provided did not work. After the entire meeting invite was forwarded to me I learned that the meeting owner used letters, numbers, and symbols to strengthen the meeting passcode. In doing this, it created 2 different passcodes. One was labeled meeting passcode that works with the video link and the other labeled passcode that works for telephones. I replicated this in my own account. In my meeting invite, it only showed the passcode where it would be manually entered by a telephone, or Andorid or iOS smartphone. i would have to tweak my messaging so the would invite show meeting passcode below the meeting link. And maybe include a note about manually dialing. 2 passcodes is problematic if you have user who manually enter meeting id from an ipad or smartphone and the enter the numeric passcode. Recommendation, use numbers in your passcodes or make it clear that manually dialing needs to use the meeting passcode if you want. Tweak your messaging in your calendar invites to be clear on when to use the correct passcode.

Hi - I really hope someone can help with this issue. I have several staff in my office using zoom (ovbiously! lol) but suddenly many started having issues with the sound. Initially, I thought the external speakers died (it happens) so I replaced them with a USB speaker. The speakers work great in every other application (YouTube, etc) but in a Zoom meeting, all the sound is warbly and unintelligable. I've searched for solutions, changed settings, changed ports, everything I could think of and find online, but nothing is fixing the issue. Everything was working fine a couple weeks ago - I don't know if there was some Zoom update that broke the sound, but I'm at my wit's end! Thank you in advance for any and all potential solutions!

Many times zoom Connector IP address has been changed , how can i be notified for this modification?
is their any solution, because every time this change all our rooms we are unable to use zoom
Before the update a month ago I was able to expand the size of my Zoom meetings within my screen window which is usually 1/4 the size of my monitor. Now after the update I cannot expand Zoom within my window. Yes I can expand the size of my window to take up the whole monitor but I like to have my Zoom Meetings on only a 1/4 of my monitor so I can see it better. Any advice please to fix this problem? Thank You - Steven

When I am in a meeting, all the participants' faces look wrong -- they are either very small or compressed depending on the view -- and this is making Zoom unusable. I have searched Google, Support, the Zoom Community, and used the Zoom Chatbot and haven't found a solution to this. In Gallery View, faces only take up the top left portion of the yellow box and are very small. They are not filling the entire yellow box, but are taking about 1/8th of the space. Faces are only about 1" wide. In Speaker View, the speaker's face looks normal and takes the normal amount of space. But the other participants faces along the top of the screen are extremely compressed such that I cannot identify people. Each person's face is about 1/2" wide when it should be much wider. I have example screen shots of both scenarios, and both occur when the Zoom window is maximized or not. I am using version 5.17.11 in my Firefox browser on a desktop. I also had this issue in the version previous to 5.17.11. I don't get an error messages about this, it is just how it is. I had no issues until about mid February 2024. I am a basic member so I cannot get personalized support. Please assist as this is making Zoom unusable. Thank you.

Hello, I used to be able to use the "add session" feature to build long-term recurring meetings that have multiple instances in the same day (e.g. 10:00-11:00 am & 2:00-3:00 pm on Wednesdays and 12:00-1:00 pm & 5:00-6:00 pm on Fridays). It was part of our workflow to have the individual meeting times on the zoom invitation/.ics calendar (so as not to block the zoom account and everyone's calendars for the entire day). It seems like the "add session" feature is gone, so we can only have one recurring instance per day on the invitation. Is there a workaround to creating multiple sessions in a day with the same meeting link/invite? I'm building meetings using the current browser version of Zoom.us (attempted on both Firefox and Edge for Windows), not a connected app or calendar. Thank you if anyone has any ideas!
