Hello All,

I'm trying to automate the Zoom VDI Plugin installation through Intune and I was wondering if there is a way to check if there is an ongoing meeting prior to the install.

I noticed that on the desktop app, while a meeting is ongoing the process CptService.exe is running and when the meeting is closed, the process also disappears.

This is not the case with the VDI Plugin - CptService.exe is running all the time.

Is there another way to check if there is an ongoing meeting prior to the installation?

I attended a meeting last night hosted by OncLive called Ask the Expert | Frontline Management Strategies to Improve Outcomes for Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. 

Dr. Erba from Duke gave a great talk.  He finished and said “I’d like to take questions” .  The Onc Live moderator came on and said “Thank you Dr. Erba” and the meeting cut out and said “ The meeting was ended by the host”.  The evaluations were not made available to complete the module.  The meeting was cut out at approx. 7:25 PM by the host.  It was a session that I was being paid to attend, but I cannot claim an honorarium unless the evaluation is completed - but the host cut off the meeting before the evaluations came through the Zoom link.

I have found that the Video Panel showing my participants disappears when I start screen sharing with Optimise for Video clip and select an Entire Screen. Zoom shows a message that The video thumbnails have been minimised. This optimises performance for full-screen video sharing mode.

I use a low-res display of 960x720 for dual-screen PowerPoint presentations. I have to choose Show Video Panel from the … menu. This is very inconvenient, as I have to repeat this manually whenever stopping and re-starting screen sharing. I see no mention of this feature in settings. There have never been any performance issues when sharing.

What I would like is a way to avoid Zoom from auto-hiding the Video Panel. Needing to turn it back on (and resize and reposition it) each time I share during my meeting is very awkward and interrupts the meeting flow.

When I attend a meeting, or when I host a meeting, I would share my screen from time to time. Out of 5 meetings I have attended in the past couple days where I have to share my screen, 4 of them, the participant window disappears as I start sharing, and I cannot retrieve the participant window. This happens regardless I am the host of the meeting or not. 

Evidently, this has happened to three of my colleagues as well!

I see that this has been an issue mentioned in the Community in different variations. Please address this ASAP.

PS. I always keep my Zoom upgraded to the latest, and this unfortunately happens more often since I upgraded Zoom Workspace this week!

hello, I need help finding the recording button settings

I tried finding admin in roles to permit recordings but there was nothing but a second billing page

I tried finding local recordings but It is replaced with recordings on my computer, and it does nothing if I change the settings

I tried contacting the customer service, and no one responses

please help me, I tried so much I almost cry now
