Cannot share computer audio - participants hear mostly hiss/static

When sharing computer audio the participants hear a loud hissing sound.  It does change with the sound/music being shared, but it is still mostly static.  This is true with audio from a video, just amazon music, and even just system sounds.  The system sounds end up sounding like an electric guitar but change in tone similar to the sound itself so this seems to be a bitrate/sampling problem or something.

 

Feel like I've tried everything.  Similar issues can be found back to 2021 with the biggest solution back then to downgrade to 5.6 which is now too old and an upgrade is forced as soon as that version starts.

 

* I've disabled all audio enhancements in windows 11

* Tried 16 and 24 bits

* Removed dolby effects and realtek console

* confirmed I have the latest audio drivers

* tried both the mono and stereo options in zoom

* tried the different audio options in zoom (though most of those seem geared towards the mic)

* upgraded to the latest updates for windows 11

I just purchased a new iPad Pro, and even after deleting the Zoom app and reinstalling, ensuring that it has the most recent updates from Zoom. My zoom room has the prior interface with all the control functions at the top rather than at the bottom. I have sent in a zoom support report and I have contacted Apple support and have not found any resolution. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions, please!

External Mic on iPad Mini

Seeing videos and chat function on a tablet at the same time

I am going to use zoom on my samsung tablet but I was hoping to be able to see the chat screen and the video participants at the same time. I can't figure out how to do it. Please help!

for the past few months, I now have to switch the setting to on, as it defaults to off. 

I have a lot of technically challenged students who I have to talk through this process every time and they find it daunting. 

 

Why is this now the default setting? Is there a way of changing this.

audio & video are not in sync on both laptop and phone for my zoom account.

There is a weird split second delay where my audio and video are not in sync. This is for both my laptop and my phone, so it's not an issue with a device. It's a zoom issue. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Show more

Running MacPro here and trying to output audio to a different sound device.  

I have several aggregate devices that I set up for different scenarios.  The are all hosted by the same 32ch interface.  This particular set up is supposed to take audio out on ch 15-16 but instead, It keeps playing it on channels 1 & 2.    Is it because Zoom does not recognize aggregate devices?  It plays it on first two channels of the default interface even though in preferences is chosen an aggregate device.

 

I hope you understand what am saying 🙂

 

Any ideas?

I have just invested the $5 per month to my account to add translated captions functionality as I'm about to start working with a German client. however, on testing, the german translation is not working ... Japanese, Malaysian and Hebrew all are ok, but German just brings up english text, Is this a known issue?

I have a Logitech c920s webcam running on a Windows 11 laptop. I was using Logitech Capture software to take advantage of picture adjustments, but it's obsolete and has been replaced by LogiTune.

    Here's the problem: I can start LogiTune and see the video feed from the camera, but LogiTune shuts down or crashes when I start Zoom. If I start Zoom first and then run LogiTune, the LogiTune software says that the camera is in use with another application (i.e., Zoom).

    Is there some way to get LogiTune to work with Zoom? If no one has a solution, I'll have to go back to Logitech Capture.
