Participants not available in Zoom

I often get an email notication that someone has joined my meeting, but they do not show up in the Zoom app for several minutes and sometimes not at all.

Any idea how this can be dealt with, as I'm missing several important meetings?

I use a Logitech Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera along with a desktop computer for accessing Zoom.  I do use a virtual background with an external green screen.  Something (camera or Zoom) is causing my video to Zoom out so you can see the green screen and the rest of the room.  The camera itself is not zooming out.  It's more like the Zoom app is auto adjusting. I get the virtual background all set prior to people joining the session then it may or may not resize as people join.  Zoom and computer software are up to dated; camera has been uninstalled and reinstalled; I've tried original ratio and HD in the video settings....

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Resolved! We bought a license for a user. Does that user need to resend meeting invites?

So, the premise of this is that one of our staff members only had Basic initially when he sent out a meeting invite. The old URL starts with "https://zoom.us", but new meeting URLs start with our branded Zoom URL.

In the URL, the meeting ID and the pwd parts are exactly the same, and the rest of the meeting login info is exactly the same. I assume this means meeting participants who have received the old invitation can still get in, but I wanted to be sure.

Recording a powerpoint presentation to be used later via a link

I need to do a pre-recorded powerpoint presentation with sound. I need to be able to utilize it at other times as well as if needed, send it to others via a possible link.  Is this possible and if so, I would I accomplish?

Hi Team,

I have an email from my school (@aulactb.edu.vn). I created a zoom account by that email and registered K-12 program.

However, my zoom account couldn't enable the 40-minute unlimited feature. My collages who have the same email domain (@aulactb.edu.vn) could create an unlimited zoom account.

What steps should I do to enable the unlimited feature? What contact point should I contact to check my account?

Thanks,

I noticed that when you schedule a meeting using Registration, Zoom Apps is only available for the host of the meeting.  Everyone else does not have the Apps button available in that meeting.  Even if you assign someone else as the co-host, they still don't get the Apps button.  All of my users have Apps in regular meetings, but for some reason, when Registration is used, then nobody can use Apps.

I can't imagine this is intentional.  It seems like an oversight.  At very least, Zoom should give you the option to allow or forbid Apps in a meeting regardless of whether Registration is being used or not.  I think it's a bug because if you try to send an App to somebody, they get the below error message when they try to open it.  If it was an intentional feature for Apps to not be available with a meeting using Registration, then why would there be an error message?

Anyway, has anyone found any workarounds for this?  It's quite an issue for me because I scheduled a series of 8 trainings using a Registration page this month to show people how to use Zoom Apps, and in doing the first session yesterday, I discovered that nobody could use the Apps because the meeting used registration, which kind of defeated the purpose of the training.  So now I guess I need to send out a new link without using the Registration feature.  It was quite the embarrassment for me since I'm supposed to be the expert 🤣
