Hi. I've been recording Zoom meetings for my podcast, but every now and then, I get logged off the meeting (and I'm the host who's recording). Luckily I can log back on, my guests are still there, and I can start the recording again, but it's embarrassing as the host, and it always worries me that my footage will get lost. Thus far, nothing has been lost, but I do need to retrieve the footage in different folders.

A person I know has had a paid zoom account for the last two years but is considering giving it up.  He has a recurring meeting with a meeting id every sunday evening.

We were looking into alternatives.  One of course is we pay him to sign up for another year.  But the question came up if another person (such as me) has a paid account, is there a way to move the meeting as is from his account to my account?  By 'as is' I am asking if you move over the meeting from one user to the other, is the meeting id still the same?

So what this situation again is the original user who is totally independent from me, for example, wants to stop paying for zoom.  I continue to pay annually for zoom.  Can I take over his meetings  - having it transferred to me - without having to change the id?

I received an email notifying me that "Your cloud recording is now available."
Following the URL, a Passcode appears in brackets like this:
(Passcode: ******)

In practice it is ambiguous whether the closing bracket ) is part of the password or not.

It also requires some manual dexterity to actually select the correct password, not only because one must exclude the ) but also because the whole thing is set in a tiny font.

Please remove these brackets from the email template and increase the font size for accessibility.

Thanks.

PMI

I'm having an issue trying to use the same personal meeting ID however, it continues to change.  Is there a way to use the same PMI number.  I've checked in the profile but it always changes.

Thanks!

It appears to be impossible to rename cameras. I make this swap multiple times a week so it'd be nice to do with more easily.

Hi, Im trying to share music in a zoom meet. We can all hear the music (its on a low, background music type volume setting)- but I am unable to hear peoples voices, and they can't hear mine. I'm not sure what settings I need to use - I have the mic set to my webcam, and speakers set to my laptop. I have a laptop and a second monitor. Just wanting to share the computer audio, and not my screen. Is it possible to do that as well as speak, and hear the others?

For the last week or so updates to the Zoom Add In for Outlook crash as the installer can't find 5.8.0.110.msi. I've tried removing the Add In and reinstalling but with no joy - same problem. I can't seem to find any site I can download 5.8.0.110.msi so that the installer finds it. Any ideas, suggestions would be most welcome. Be safe.
