I was patiently waiting in the waiting room. I thought that it wasn't my turn yet, however, the Host messaged me in the chat asking if I can hear them. The host had already invited me in the meeting and can see/hear me, but I couldn't. All I saw on my screen was a loading waiting room. It had the loading symbol ever since I entered the meeting, which looked fine, so I'm really confused as to what's happening. I've been waiting for hours now. This has never happened to me before and I'm really disappoint as I cannot receive immediate tech support.

Hi All, 

 

We have Zoom integrated with Brightspace to create virtual classrooms for our students. I need a way to determine which Zoom session is connected with which course (OrgUnit in Brightspace) so I can manage them via their API's. Zoom API and Brightspace's Valence API.

 

I know this data is saved in the Brightspace database but we are no longer self hosted and therefore can only access data through the API.

 

Has anyone done this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Resolved! Upcoming meetings

Hello,

 

I received an invitation to join a meeting in 2 days, I accepted it but I do not see that meeting in upcoming meetings list.

 

Is this list only for meetings I am the host of, and not for meetings I joined ?

The edges of my blond hair picks up the green from my green screen

How do I prevent the green from the green screen from showing up in my blonde hair? Is there a solution to this problem? The same happens when I use a blue screen.

How to set immersive view to HD?

When I use immersive view, my side is clear, bt my friend at the other side seem the background blurry. 

How can I set so it can at least everyone in meeting can view clearly when I start immersive view?

I've been finding that sometimes when I use Zoom the video of myself appears much darker than it should be. This usually happens if I have left one meeting and joined another one. I've tried using the 'Adjust for low light' setting and this helps a b... Show more

I've been finding that sometimes when I use Zoom the video of myself appears much darker than it should be. This usually happens if I have left one meeting and joined another one. I've tried using the 'Adjust for low light' setting and this helps a bit but not much as the image is still darker than it should be. Restarting my laptop sometimes fixes this.  Is anyone able to provide any advice? Thanks in advance.

Conducting a poll in large meetings

I have a need to take a poll for around 750 members in a virtual meeting and I plan to accomplish that by buying an add on for large meetings and conduct a poll there. Is there an option to conduct poll in a large meeting?

Participants unable to join Zoom meeting

We organized a Zoom meeting today and ran into an issue as participants could not join. We had enabled Zoom registration prior to the meeting and manually approved of participants that were to join. However, when they clicked on the link for the Zoom meeting, they were taken to the registration form rather than the meeting itself. 

 

Could this issue be related to the manual approval of participants? Any good tips on how to avoid this from happening again in the future?
