You used to be able to navigate in Zoom (chat, set up breakout rooms, make someone a co-host, etc.) while sharing your screen with an embedded video were playing in PowerPoint. Now, when you click anything, the video stops playing. It's back to the way it was a couple of years ago, but then there was an update a while ago that enabled us to do stuff while the video was playing. Now you can't. What happened?

I constantly use the safe driving screen in meetings.  Yesterday it was working fine, but today it stopped allowing me to unmute when I tap the Tap to Speak circle.  The app was not updated recently (since 2/28), the settings in the phone or Zoom were not changed.  I can unmute using the standard meeting screen.  I followed all the troubleshooting advice - changing app settings, phone permissions, force stopped the app, reinstalled the app.  Nothing seems to have helped.  All the settings are as suggested.  No error messages.

Hello,

I am having taking a class online, and when the instructor sends a "quiz" in chat. When I click the link it downloads and I'm able to fill out the test, but when I try to submit it when I'm done I get a "missing data" message but I have everything filled out. I don't know if it's because I'm using a MacBook (ver 15.3.2) , because this recently started happening once I started using my MacBook. I used to have a cheap HP and I was able to submit my quizzes with no issue. The only reason I switched to a Mac was because I needed more "RAM" memory for my old HP, so I don't know if there's some type of setting I need to change or what to fix this issue.

Recording only hear me

Anyone know why when i record a meeting and play it back, i only hear myself and not the other person on the recording?

I am trying to log into my desktop app. i do not remember my password. i hit forgot password. it takes me to a "google or apple" page. i click either of them (tried both) and it just logs me in onto the website automatically. no option to actually reset my password ever. still don't know my password. still cant get into desktop app.

Feature Request in Multi-Share Mode

In Zoom Pro, when I am in "multi-share" mode with my students all sharing their screens, I would love to be able to put their screens in order instead of my view being in the order of when they clicked share. It would be wonderful to be able to sort ... Show more

In Zoom Pro, when I am in "multi-share" mode with my students all sharing their screens, I would love to be able to put their screens in order instead of my view being in the order of when they clicked share. It would be wonderful to be able to sort my view of their shared screens by last name or first name, or - even better! - to be able to put them into a specific order of my choice (for example, being able to put the three I need to keep an extra-close eye on all together as the first three).

 

In a related wish, I would also love to be able to request a participant to screen share, similar to the options we have to "ask to unmute" and "ask to start video."

Hola. Somos una escuela de Perú que ya no trabaja de forma remota. Pero Zoom se ha cobrado automáticamente un plan anual de 51 cuentas y queremos la devolución. Ya enviamos correo y ojalá tengamos suerte.

Zoom Room not connecting

I have a zoom room setup running with a neat bar but not getting connectivity. I see that it has a valid ip address from our network but cannot connect. The iPad is also connected to our network. Tells me to "please check my network connection..." Wh... Show more

I have a zoom room setup running with a neat bar but not getting connectivity. I see that it has a valid ip address from our network but cannot connect. The iPad is also connected to our network. Tells me to "please check my network connection..." 

 

When accessing settings for the neat bar it gives me 

Status - not connected

Displays mac  address

displays valid ip address, subnet and gateway.

 

My network team says they see the device connected to our network but still the device is not talking to anything.

I am using the Zoom extension for Google Calendar (in Chrome) to keep track of my client appointments (i.e., Zoom meetings). If a client has a recurring Zoom meeting at the same day and time every week, will the Zoom link that the extension sends in the invite continue to work each week?

Persistent pop-up "Turn On Reactions"

Since the last zoom update, I am getting a small popup message at the top of my video window with every meeting I start. It says "Turn On Reactions 'zoom.us' has turned off Reaction effects. Click (the video icon) and select Reactions to add more impact to your gestures". It has an "x" to close the popup window. But that doesn't close it.  It only closes when I click the green video icon in the top function bar. Whether I turn Reactions on or off - the popup is still there. I don't know how to upload and image so I hope this is explanatory enough. Don't know if this is a bug, or if it's pilot error somehow. Would appreciate any tips on how to get rid of this popup!   I'm using a Macbook Pro running OS Sequoia 15.3.2.
