For the last week, Zoom has stopped working on my Mac.  Uninstall/reinstall (including installing today's new version) does not help.

It is *not* an issue with my network router -- that is working fine.  But trying to log in to the app, or launch a meeting off a calendar invite, just says:

"You are unable to connect to Zoom.  Please check your network connection and try again".

Resolved! Zoom virtual background not working on 2020 i3 dual core mac

Hi all, does anyone know why I need a green screen in order to have virtual background on my i3 dual core MacBook air? This works fine on Windows, with the exactly same spec, without green screen.

Closed Captioning Recording

I have a paid account and have enabled closed captioning.

It works fine during meetings and on Cloud recordings, but does not appear when I record to my local computer.

Is this correct?

Meeting Invite Outlook vs. Google

I recently switched laptops and before when I scheduled a meeting in the Zoom app an invite for the meeting was automatically opened in Outlook. Now, it's defaulting to try and open with Google. How can I switch that?

Thanks!

I'd like to edit the properties of my webcam on a Zoom meeting: brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. The problem is that I can't find a way to open the properties window in order to do that. I am able to open and edit that window in other programs that use my webcam, such as OBS studio, but not on Zoom.

OS: Windows 8.1
Zoom: 5.9.1

The only workaround I've found is to open Zoom and activate my webcam, then open OBS studio and edit the properties from there. The adjustments are visible on Zoom, but I'd prefer a more direct solution instead of this.

Can you please help me? Thank you in advance.
