There are plenty of devices in my home network - tablets, laptops, smartphones - all of them are able to connect to zoom without a problem. As expected. But I have one device, and old iMac, that can't connect to zoom.us. The issue is with the zoom app, and with every browser I'm trying. The browser shows a timeout error. I've tried uninstalling the zoom app, using the uninstall procedure, but that didn't help either. I can't find any similar issues online. I'm kinda lost for solutions here. Can someone help me please?
I've tried to look of there's a firewall, a faulty hosts file on the computer, or even an issue with the router, but couldn't find anything.

I use Zoom to record interviews, and have set my settings so that when I open a meeting, the record function turns on automatically. Recently however I have been finding that often doesn't happen, and when I try to turn on "Record" Zoom replies that I have to request permission from the host. That makes no sense, as I am the host of the meeting. How do I resolve this so that I can turn on "Record"?

Hello!
Could we please have a button to resend invitations to co-hosts in Meetings as we have on Webinars?
This is such a useful feature! We schedule meetings weeks ahead of time and the invites get lost in our inboxes after one day.
Cheers
Tonight I held a meeting and found that "Virtual Background" is greyed out - cannot select any. I am on Windows 10 and on the current version 5.10.7 and I can "add and image" but I cannot select any of the images as a Virtual Background. I now have 4 options - Virtual Background, Video Filters, Avatars and then BETA. First time I have seen the BETA version which is not selectable,- same as the virtual background options. The "avatars" and "video filters" all operate fine and can be changed. Prior to tonight I could select an virtual background images. Can anyone shed some light please.

Hi there My students are requesting that there be some way to give them an audio/verbal broadcast message. This is because the broadcast messages at the top of their screens are often not seen by the group. I was doing a great activity where the students have to move through a set of documents, with 5 minutes on each, but they were not seeing the prompts to move to the next. In addition, messages they do see often fade away too quickly. I know we can share screens with the BOR but that limits the groups abilities, so to me, that is not a solution. What can you do Zoom?? Hello,
Why would Zoom allow Zoom users to submit feature requests for upvoting at community.zoom.com?
Thanks,
