Hi everybody!!
Every time I open the zoom "your app version needs to be 5.8.6 or higher to sign in. Please contat your IT team to update your app". But I'M the IT. So

I tried to update manually from the settings and I didn't have the option.

After that I downloaded a more advanced version of Zoom to my computer and I still got the same message that I mentioned above. Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem? Thank you

Zoom and Jabra Pro 9460
I give classes online through Zoom and use a Jabra Pro 9460 headset for that.

Since the update this morning, Zoom closes and my host role is transferred to a participant as soon as I put my Jabra Pro 9460 headset in the charging station during a break.

I used to have this phenomenon but it could then be prevented.

How can I prevent / disable this?

I join a weekly meeting using a simple URL (e.g., https://us02web.zoom.us/j/123123123123).  I'm then prompted for a plain text password, which I manually enter.

I'm curious whether there's a way to add that plain text password to the simple meeting URL.

I'm aware that the meeting organizer can include an encoded password (?pwd=....), but for some reason they chose a manually entered password.

We have 200-300 attendees on our events that we run on Zoom. The sessions are engaging and involved many of the attendees on camera actively participating in the event. The presenter has run these live up to now but we would like to run them using a recording of a previous session but give the exact same experience as a live event. So multiple attendees on screen watching and listening to the presenter as if he were presenting live but in fact it is a recording. We have tested this by screen sharing the recording on a zoom meeting and have a couple of sticking points:

1. When you move your cursor over the screen it pops up saying "you are viewing 'name's' screen" - is there a way to stop this from popping up?

2. When the presenter shares his screen his camera moves to the top right of the screen which on a recording sits behind the live participants. Is there a way around this?

Is there a way to automatically save the text transcription of a meeting?  I always intend to and often forget to save the transcript before the meeting ends (not all meetings are recorded), and then the discussion gets lost in the ether forever.  I'm deaf so it's difficult to take notes while watching the meeting--I prefer being able to go back and re-read the transcript and take notes then.
