For months I have been warned that my OS will no longer be supported and I need to switch to PWA App. I am on a chromebook which I recently upgraded. I teach exercise and yoga classes online. Now when I schedule my meetings in the new app, and then sign into them from the new app, my students get a message saying they can't sign in because I am in another meeting. The only way to have class and admit my students is to leave the app meeting and sign in the old way. Then everyone else can sign in. The other weird thing is that I get recordings of these meetings no one can sign into with no title on them, even though when I originally signed in through the new app I could see the title I had previously scheduled for that specific class. I hope this makes sense to someone because I am totally lost and am losing students. The other weird thing is that even though when scheduling I say "record in the cloud", the recording does not start automatically like it used to and I do not have any sound until I manually tell it to record. I have had almost no problems for three years until this new app.

I cannot hear participants on zoom.  Can see them and they can hear me.  This doesn't happen with any other application.  I can hear Netflix and Youtube for example.  This only happens when I try to zoom.  I have tried all the test suggestions.  I can see bars moving, but no sound is coming out.

call log

I had a zoom meeting - the call interrupted.  I need to find out why that meeting interrupted. I want to see a call log on whether the caller / inviter of that meeting ended the call or if it was due to technical issues ? Where can I see this ?

Hello. Let's say I want users Rachel and Daniel to be co hosts for every meeting I schedule. Is there a way to to automatically have co hosts assigned for every meeting I schedule. Or do I have to manually add them as a co host for every single meeti... Show more

Maximum meeting size for Pro Plan

If we have reached capacity but have someone still in the waiting room, will we be able to admit the person in the waiting room if someone leaves the meeting and thus frees up a seat?

Changing hosts with a Pro license

Garden Club has a Pro license. Linda is the host. Linda has a funeral to attend and cannot host/start the meeting. Jill, the president, wants to host the meeting. She tried and her meeting ended after 40 minutes. The error message said she needed a Z... Show more

Garden Club has a Pro license.  Linda is the host.  Linda has a funeral to attend and cannot host/start the meeting.  Jill, the president, wants to host the meeting.  She tried and her meeting ended after 40 minutes.  The error message said she needed a Zoom Pro license.  Our organization has one.  Is there a way to temporarily change hosts?

Samsung says can't use 32" Samsung monitor with camera for Zoom calls

Samsung tells me that Zoom does not support a connection from a 2019 MacBook Pro running Ventura to a Samsung 32" monitor model number LS32BM801UNXGO camera. I am using a usb-c connection from the MacBook to the middle usb-c connector on the monitor as Samsung tech support recommended. It can be deceiving but it is not using wifi. 

 

In Apple's settings-displays it shows the "Samsung 32" Display" but in Zoom's video settings it only shows  "FaceTime HD Camera" (which is the MacBook camera).

 

The desktop from the MacBook displays on the monitor. The camera works on the monitor if you use an app on the monitor. When I close the cover on the MacBook it does not switch to the monitor's camera.

 

I have tried 2 monitors. Samsung told me the first one had a bad usb port. Probably not so.

 

Any ideas?

How to find subtitle files

I enabled the subtitle function in the meeting, but I did not record the video or save the subtitle. Can I still find the subtitle record of this meeting after I exit the meeting?
