After using Zoom with no issues for the past 2 years, I have recently encountered issues which are having a substantial effect on my use for work. Frequently, during a meeting, Zoom will close and then reopen again several seconds later - sometimes it doesn't reopen however and I have to reload the meeting again. This usually happens when I unmute to use the microphone, however sometimes it appears completely random. When Zoom crashes, I receive no notifications to indicate a likely cause, it simply closes and then reloads (sometimes!).

 

I have checked my wifi, microphone software and internet connection however these do not seem to be the cause of the issue. I have also, removed the Zoom App and reinstalled it to see if this fixes the problem, however none of these solutions have worked.

Floating chat box hiding behind window

Ever since I updated to the new version my floating chat box disappears whenever I share my screen in fullscreen. It no longer pops up in front of my shared screen window, but instead hides behind it on my desktop. As a result, I have to pause sharing to minimise the window so I can see the chat box, and then resume sharing when I've read the messages. It's quite frustrating. Anyone else having the same issue since the update?

Hi. Occasionally, when a Zoom call is in progress in one of our conference rooms, there is distracting noise. It can sound like glass breaking or water rushing. (At first, I thought it was a live mic on someone's laptop that had not been muted, but that is not the case.) No one in the Zoom conference room hears it. Only participants who are on the call through their laptop in another location. It usually happens multiple times during a meeting, but it may not happen again for a week. We have recorded it in live meetings, but in trying to diagnose, we have recorded hours of Zoom in that room,  it did not replicate. It seems completely random.

I have spoken to many people to find a resolution, but nothing has worked. We even changed out and upgraded our microphones which are now hard-wired into the ethernet cable.

Any suggestions?  Thanks so much!

Resolved! My floating controls are not on top when screen sharing

I am using a Mac Mini.  OS Ventura 13.0.  This problem started 3 days ago.  

When I share a screen, the "floating controls" no longer appear on the shared screen.  I assume I accidentally hit a series of buttons to uncheck something but I cannot find it.  I turned on the keyboard shortcut for "show floating controls" and tried to do that but no love.

Up until quite recently, the calendar integration instructions showed that the oauth did not support hybrid Office 365 environments. I no longer see that listed, however, when I'm approving the enterprise app to allow the integration. It doesn't actually work, one time it comes up still asking for the EWS permissions, the next time it asks for the right ones, but never takes effect. Any ideas?

Having two frustrated issue right now.

1. Some of the participant will lost audio (even though audio still show connected) when there is new participant join the meeting. 

2. Part of participant will be muted when new participant join (mobile user have reinstall Zoom and updated to latest version, although zoom setting have de-select "Mute all participant when they join a meeting".

Please help on this as this major issue.
