On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hi - I use recurring meetings/ Meet Any Time all the time in my practice, and they are suddenly gone from Zoom Workplace. They disappeared for a while last summer when Zoom updated, but they were restored shortly thereafter and I haven't had a problem since - until now. What happened, and will they be back? It's very inconvenient to have to go to the web version to find those links multiple times a day. Thanks for any help you can give.

Yes we have been having issues with reoccurring meetings as well. Unable to assign different HOST. See our recent post - https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/I-CANNOT-ALLOCATE-A-NEW-HOST-TO-MEETINGS/m-p/226477#M123...
Have you had any response from Zoom?

The reoccurring meetings have been moved around a few times. They should now be visible in the Zoom app. If you are still having difficulty there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you view, schedule and manage your recurring Zoom meetings in one location.

Thank you but Zoom should get its act together.

I have not had any response from Zoom yet...

We just created an API for wordpress and cannot find an option for recurring meetings with all the calendar scope activated. I see there is another selection that refers to recurring so it appears that it is or was supposed to be part of the process. Have you found that the recurring entries will import if you create them from Zoom outside the API?

I answered my own question finding the API linking tokens to wordpress plugin requires the 35/ year pro version. It would be nice to have the option and a notice reflecting the upgrade.

Hello Community Members,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We have flagged the issue internally and will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
In the meantime, we appreciate your patience.

Hi Mark, well this issue was flagged back in June/July 2023. Nothing has been done since. I have about 10 back and forth emails regarding this functionality disappearing.
2025-03-26 06:08 PM
Recurring Meetings/Meet Anytime have reappeared in Zoom Workplace for me. I don't know why they disappeared or why they are back, but I hope they stay!
2025-03-27 02:24 PM
Reoccurring meeting have always been there for us. The option when editing the meeting via the zoom workplace app to assign a different host has disappeared.
the only way we can do this is signing into the web browser account. It’s a huge pain
can you find the assign alternative host section when editing a meeting?
2025-04-12 09:29 PM
For me they disappeared two weeks ago, then reappeared last week, and now they have disappeared again. Zoom, that's really bad, please cut it out!!

The issue is in the API created in Zoom Marketplace. I can still create a recurring meeting in the Zoom Ap or browser but it does not transfer inside the plugin within Wordpress. For NJSAUS you can access the assignment of hosts within the API if you can't get it in the browser. It seems to work well.

Hello Community Members,
We have received information from the engineers about why this behavior is happening; kindly check below:
For Zoom users with no calendar Integration
If a meeting is a recurring meeting, meet anytime (no fixed time meeting), and then it will show in the recurring list.
On the web Meeting page:
In client:
For Zoom users with Calendar Integration
If a meeting is a recurring meeting, meet anytime (no fixed time meeting); whether it will show in the recurring list depends on if the client can find the related event in the calendar.
Some recurring time meetings were created in a third-party calendar (e.g., Outlook, Google), and when it was created on the third-party calendar, it had calendar events.
In the Zoom client, if the calendar can find related calendar events, then the recurring meeting will not show up in the recurring list. If the calendar cannot find related calendar events, then the recurring meeting will show in the recurring list.
Attention:
Not all recurring meetings are fixed-time meetings. Most meetings are daily/weekly/monthly meetings.
Only no fixed meeting may appear in the recurring list.
Zoom will recycle meetings. If a meeting is not activated for a long time, then the meeting will expire and will no longer show in the client.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info. Just so I'm clear on this, if I create a recurring/no meeting time meeting on the website (e.g., for remote extra help for my students) and one of them schedules a meeting with me via Book With Me, the meeting magically changes from recurring to scheduled in Zoom? And worse, once the meeting has occurred it then is deleted? This is the behavior I'm seeing and it's particularly problematic since I use these types of meetings for advising and other on-demand access by my students. Oh, and the extra help meeting I had last night with a student shows up nowhere, not even in the recently deleted area.
Is there anything I can do to recover the meetings I created which are now ???
If my understanding is correct (that when Zoom finds a scheduled meeting with a recurring meeting it changes it to non-recurring 'for' me), stop, please stop, don't do that! You didn't schedule it - I did - so you (Zoom) shouldn't make any changes to my meetings.
I need these meetings back - it's the end of the semester - I can't keep recreating meetings for on-demand access and I can't keep updating the various places I've posted/shared the links.
I'm tired, I'm frustrated, and I need a good/acceptable answer.
Thanks,
Dave

I have to say -- if you have to write a tome, then you haven't dealt with the issue. It used to show "recurring meetings" on my tablet Zoom app, and that went away. That's a Zoom problem, which I don't think I should have to do anything at all to resolve, I think Zoom should resolve it asap. Thanks.

EXACTLY!
2025-04-12 09:42 PM
This is not the issue. All of my recurring meetings (no calendar integration) are set up the same way you show them. The problem is, on the Zoom Workplace "Meetings" tab, there was a link at the bottom that said something like "> Recurring Meetings", and when clicked, it navigated to the list of recurring meetings. That link is gone now. I don't see any other place in the entire app with that functionality. Since all the meetings I have are recurring meetings, this is extremely inconvenient.

Agree 100% with DuvielAH & Blueberry. I rely on my list of recuring meetings for all my back to back team huddles with my international team. Yesterday I could see my list of Recurring Meetings on my Windows App main screen, today they are all gone. This is NOT the first time this has happened. This is not acceptable. This random bug must be driving Zoom users crazy all over the world!! It is A BUG. Fix it, Zoom!
2025-04-09 06:39 PM
Great detailed answer, but we are aware of that functionality. WHat we are talking about here is a BUG. When one day the list of recurring meetings show up on the main Zoom app screen, then the next day the entire list of recurring meetings has disappeared. For on good reason. It has happened several times over several years and drives us NUTS. This is core functionality and disrupts all our regular international team huddles. Our team huddles are back to back and we have seconds between meetings to switch to start a new recurring meeting. Fix the bug, Zoom! It's gone on long enough.
