I hosted a meeting yesterday and transcription was turned on. However after ending the meeting I can't find a copy on my desktop or the cloud.Does the transcription only go to the person who turned it on? How can I find out who this was or get a copy... Show more

Seeing more responses on the issue, I updated my original message to make it more useful.

 

Problem:

On my Windows 11 laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad, E495, ethernet wired connection), when I start Zoom (even without signing in, same with Microsoft Team), the internet speed test shows a 30-times drop, from 450 Mbps to ~10 Mbps.

 

Temporary remedy: 

After your Zoom session, QUIT Zoom (or Team) COMPLETELY so your internet speed is back to normal. You make sure this by clicking the "Show hidden icons" arrow at the bottom-right of your screen to see all the applications running and exit Zoom if it is still there.

 

Attempted fix. It worked briefly for an earlier version of Zoom, but does not work anymore (after Zoom version evolution) as of Oct. 11, 2023 :

   1.) Search for the "Control Panel" and open this up.

   2.) In the window that comes up, click on the "Network and Internet" link

   3.) In there, there will be a link that says "Internet Options", click on that to get another pop-up window

   4.) In that pop-up window, towards the top, look for the tab that says "Advanced" and click on that

   5.) Scroll to the bottom of that window, look for where it lists "Use TLS", check "Use TLS 1.3", and uncheck "Use TLS 1.2". 

 

Also tried Google Meet. Although the network speed test shows no issue, all applications become slow and lagging. It is worse than Zoom -- even the slowdown-plagued version.

Hola, presento el siguiente problema en un equipo Dell, al abrir Zoom y unirse a una llamada, aparece el siguiente error:
“No se pudieron detectar su micrófono ni su altavoz. Asegúrese de que sus dispositivos estén conectados correctamente.”

 He realizado lo siguiente:

  1. Actualización de Windows.
  2. Revisión de la configuración de privacidad, confirmando que Zoom tiene permisos para acceder al micrófono.
  3. Instalación de una versión anterior del controlador de sonido, considerando que podría ser un problema del driver.
  4. Descartado que sea un problema de hardware, ya que el micrófono y los altavoces funcionan correctamente en otras aplicaciones como Google Meet y Microsoft Teams.
  5. Revisión exhaustiva de la configuración de la aplicación Zoom, sin encontrar anomalías.
  6. Actualización de la aplicación Zoom

    A pesar de estas acciones, el problema persiste exclusivamente en Zoom. La única medida no realizada es formatear el equipo e instalar nuevamente el sistema operativo.

¿Existe alguna solución adicional que pueda probar antes de proceder con el formateo del equipo?

How do I livestream with a different email (youtube account) than was used to register zoom account?

I'm trying to livestream from a youtube account with a different email address than the one I used to create my zoom acct.  Zoom keeps on saying "User not enabled for live streaming".  Please advise, and thank you in advance

ZOOM RECORDED AUDIO BUT NOT VIDEO - JUST BLACK SCREEN

I recorded a 3 hour zoom interview for my work, no error messages popped up while i was recording, i could see the person i was interviewing and they could see me. All seemed fine, the internet lagged a bit but thats happened before, and no problems.... Show more

I recorded a 3 hour zoom interview for my work, no error messages popped up while i was recording, i could see the person i was interviewing and they could see me. All seemed fine, the internet lagged a bit but thats happened before, and no problems.

 

I convert the video to quicktime, and i just have a black screen, I have all the audio, but no video until the last 8 minutes at the end, where it suddenly comes back.

 

This has never happened before to me, camera light was on so it must have been recording right? How the hell do i get the video, this was a once in a lifetime interview, not going to get the same emotions and dialogue again.

 

Zoom has messed with my job - please tell me there is a way to get this video back.

 

I'm on a Macbook pro, i have done loads of zooms in the past with no problems - what the hell happened????!!!

 

I am very stressed, any help would be appreciated. If no help comes, zoom obviously has a system issue they dont know how to fix 😕

Hi, anyone able to help with my video which is getting so bright especially in white background and when light is on please? Even when I turn off the light, almost the same. As in super bright that you just want to turn off your cam 😞 Unfortunately our house is all white. Been using Zoom since 2020 and never had this issue before.

please restore record button

Previous versions of Zoom had a very conspicuous and easy to use red 'record' button displayed on the main menu bar which turned into an also easy to use stop/pause button during recording. This is now relegated to a drop down menu that takes several... Show more

Previous versions of Zoom had a very conspicuous and easy to use red 'record' button displayed on the main menu bar which turned into an also easy to use stop/pause button during recording.  This is now relegated to a drop down menu that takes several seconds to get to and click on.  This is stupid.  PUT IT BACK where we can get to it quickly. OR allow us to customize the features we want on our menu bar.  

 

Another feature that has been 'updated out' is the pause during recording feature; previously you could pause recording without the software separating the video into separate clips.  Now using pause cuts the video into separate individual files which have to be put back together with editing software if you want a continuous file.  Also STUPID.  If we wanted recording to be separate files, we would hit STOP or end recording.

Al realizar un transmisión en directo desde zoom a Youtube donde he usado la transmisión personalizada, configurando los datos del servidor y código de reunión, etc. esta efectivamente se me muestra en youtube pero al compartir pantalla genera el siguiente error:

 

"La tasa de bits actual de la emisión es inferior al valor mínimo recomendado. Te recomendamos que utilices una tasa de 2500 Kbps" 

 

Mi internet es 300MG simétricos así que no tengo problemas de ancho de banda, cómo se configura Zoom para que envíe el video con una tasa de bists superior para que el directo en youtube sea de alta calidad?

 

Les agradezco sus aportes para poder solucionar esto. Gracias.

I have a client who wants to have a zoom meeting where all participants can share their screens AND have them all display in a grid gallery format of the shared screens. Is this possible? I was looking though the app store and could not find anything that might do the trick. Any chance that it's possible with Webinars?
