Hi all, I tried to record a class meeting for the University and chose the "cloud recording option". While the meeting was ongoing, it clearly indicatd that a recording was in progress, but after the meeting and having stopped the meeting, no recording is to be found anywhere.... even in the web interface, under "cloud recordings", there is no indication of the meeting ever having been recorded. Can someone help with this? What did I do wrong?

Hi all, wondering if someone might be able to help me?... The annotation and Whiteboard tools are not working properly whenever I try to use them over the last few months (It's odd because they did work in the past). I can select different tools and I try to create, draw or write with them, but nothing appears on the screen when I'm using them. I've tried changing the colours, &using different tools to see if just one works, but nothing does. I even bought a paid Zoom package thinking that this would make a difference (I use Zoom for tutoring so the annotation and whiteboard tools are essential for the lessons I give) but to my dismay I discovered during a lesson that it still didn't work. Please help! Thanks in advance. Martha xx

So I updated zoom and came on zoom. But I would suggest to let people sign up without updating.
I received a message after opening Zoom... "On February 4, 2023, Zoom will be enforcing a minimum version..." There was a link, I clicked on the link. I was taken to a page that attempted to explain what this message meant. The explanation is way above my technical knowledge and understanding of terminology. All I wish to do is open Zoom and use it. I don't have time, motivation or desire to learn the technical ins-and-outs. After this, I have no idea whether I am supposed to do something, whether the service is going to keep going, what is going to be "enforced" (such sinister language!), etc. And I refuse to spend the time to learn the technical stuff, it is not my field. I don't understand why this kind of complexity is necessary for users to know. I wish Zoom would simply keep the service that I paid for running without bombarding with technical jargon. Please!

We have semi-regular meetings at which members vote. We use the registration function so we can confirm if the person registering is a member and can then vote at the meeting. The day of the meeting I'd like to send a link directly so people I KNOW are members as a reminder and so they can skip the registration and approval process (which in their case is unnecessary). Is there a way to both use the registration function but then send out an approved zoom link to the same meeting?
