How Do I Remove a Grey Block From Recording On A Video Recording?

When recording and saving to my computer, there is a grey box that comes on the screen for where the control panel resides. And from where I turned off my video. This issue does not happen with other programs except Zoom. I have redownloaded Zoom, and it has not fixed the problem.  Please advise.

Why is there a grey box on my Zoom recording?
The most common cause is an out-of-date operating system and/or an out-of-date computer being used by the host. An out-of-date operating system, coupled with the Zoom Sharing setting set to "Optimize for Video Clip," is a primary cause for the gray boxes
