Hey everyone. Yesterday we experienced a big security problem in our meeting. I tried going through all the settings (in Zoom and online), but I can't seem to find a solution. I hope you can, thanks!

For our meetings, we don't want participants to be able to unmute themselves during the program. Fortunately, there's a setting for that, which we used.

Now in the main session, it worked, nobody was able to unmute themselves. But in the breakout room? Oh boy. A visiting participant kept (unwillingly) turning on his mic. The co-host had to manually mute him every time.

Afterwards we did some testing, because we thought the problem was that we made the breakout room before we applied the security setting. But nope, if we made a new breakout room while the setting was turned on, it was still possible for people to unmute themselves there. We also checked if there are separate security settings in the breakout room, but nope.

So like the title says: the security option of not allowing participants to unmute themselves does not apply to breakout rooms. Help, what do we do? Thanks!

I have been a customer with 2 accounts for 7 years but apparently doesn't warrant help....

My account keeps randomly logging into a friends account and when I finally get it with mine it deletes my name and won't allow me to rename. PLEASE HELP ZOOM!!

New to zoom. Visited knowledge base already. I (finally, sucessfully) uploaded a csv file to personal contacts. I successfully scheduled a meeting. I want to invite ALL the emails (contacts) to the meeting from this list of personal contacts. I don't see an option to do this. It looks as if emails need to be added individually! HELP! Thank you

Personnes chez zoom ne me répond alors je fais appel à la communauté.

J'ai un forfait pro. Je vais faire une réunion le 6 mars mais j'aurai 200 personnes (et le forfait pro accepte que 100 personnes). 

Si je veux acheter un forfait grande réunion juste pour cet évènement : 

- quand le faire ? maintenant ou sur le mois de mars ou ça marche à la dernière minute aussi ?

- puis je le relie à ma réunion qui est déjà organisée ?

I have a basic account.

I organized a meeting on December 2022.

Is there a way to view a log of that meeting? Something like start-time and end-time?

List of attendees would be a plus.

If that information is not available in the basic account, if I upgrade my account to the PRO, will I be able to see that information regarding the meeting the happened in the past, when the account was basic?

When in budget situation for conference call

• AV system has Vocal Microphone
• Local participants spread over conference room
• Computer is connected to AV system
  and hardened to prevent tampering from non-computer-literate users

With poor audibility from vocal microphone, I’m wondering what if local participants use:

• Computer Zoom App connected to AV Projector Screen and Room Ceiling Loudspeaker. 
• Own Smartphone App for Microphone 

When Virtual participants speak, local participants view and listen via AV Projector Screen and Room Ceiling Loudspeaker ; mute own Smartphone (Audio and Video). 

 When one of the local participants speak, 

• Walk over to AV system to lower Room Ceiling Loudspeaker Volume 
• Unmute his/her Smartphone Zoom Audio
• Other locals use his/her Smartphone Zoom to listen
• Everyone view via AV Projector Screen

The main disadvantage is hearing un-synchronised Sound from neighbouring Smartphone Zoom; will connecting Smartphones to same WiFi network improves sound synchronicity?

Is there a better alternative?
