Dear Zoom Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing while attempting to convert a .zoom extension file to MP4 format using ztscoder.exe.

I have recently recorded a Zoom meeting and downloaded the recording to my local PC. However, I am unable to play the file or share it with others in its current .zoom format. After conducting some research, I came across ztscoder.exe as a recommended solution for converting .zoom files to a more widely compatible format like MP4.

Here are the details of my system and the steps I have taken so far:

  1. Operating System:  Windows 11

Steps I have taken:

  1. Downloaded the ztscoder.exe tool from the official Zoom website.
  2. Placed the .zoom extension file and the ztscoder.exe tool in the same directory on my local PC.
  3. Ran the following command in the command prompt: ztscoder.exe -i input.zoom -o output.mp4 (Please note: Replace "input. zoom" with the actual name of the .zoom file you are attempting to convert and "output.mp4" with the desired name for the converted MP4 file.)

However, despite following the steps correctly, the conversion process does not seem to be working as expected. The ztscoder.exe tool either displays an error message or does not generate the MP4 file as intended. I have also made sure that I have the necessary permissions to access and execute the ztscoder.exe tool on my system.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide guidance or any necessary troubleshooting steps to help me resolve this issue. Additionally, if there are any alternative methods or tools available for converting .zoom files to MP4, please let me know.

How to keep ID meeting login number year after year

Hi there,please could someone explain how we keep our login details (for members to join meeting)  for consecutive years, as changing the ID number each January, when we pay ,has a huge knock on effect with the users.

Hi,

If I join a meeting using my basic Zoom account and I type a message in the the chat to 'everyone', I can see the message and it shows up on my screen alongside all of the other messages posted by others, but the host can't see it and only some of the other participants can see it, but not all.  I have been on a number of courses on Zoom recently and it looks to the host as if I am not contributing to discussions when I am, so I have to keep  apologising and explaining that the chat function is not working properly for me. I have searched Google and Zoom for why this might be happening with no luck. 

 

Any help on how I might resolve this would be so welcome - thank you so much.

I am on the basic (free) version of Zoom and have used it without issue since 2020 during Covid. It helps me work with children remotely in an educational capacity.

The last 2 months however, my Zoom sessions are constantly cutting out in the middle of a meeting. Sometimes reconnection occurs automatically after a minute or 2, but other times I need to re-log in and my name (connection) comes up twice and asks me to reclaim as host!!!

Most frustrating and perplexing!

Has anyone else experienced this??

Zoom comes up with a pop-up to report the incident but it only gives options for abusive behaviour, fraud, copyright. Not what is actually occurring.

I'd appreciate any help/suggestions.

My Zoom used to have a button to share screen, but suddenly it is gone, and I have checked the setting all are correct.  So I thought something wrong with my Zoom app and I deleted it, download again.....however the same issue with it. Can someone help? I am using Mac OS.

Video lags when screen sharing

Hi,
My video and audio lag and freeze when I'm sharing a Powerpoint deck (Macbook). I also notice the laptop getting very hot. I need to put an ice pack under the laptop. Any ideas how to prevent overheating and lagging?

Zoom pro how to increase no of participants

I have purchased a zoom pro account already which has 100 participants limit. I'd like to increase it to 300 now. Should I repurchase?

Reporting by accident!

I was looking at all of the things I could do as a host to manage a meeting & I "reported" a person by accident.

The report was cancelled but how long is that person barred from Zoom?

They need to login but cannot.
