hello anyone have this problem, 

lots of my user, complain as the new version of zoom, makes their kamera freze and distort

i dont know is it because now it takes a lot of resource from the computer, 

because, in my country, lots of user still only use 4gb ram,

i like the old zoom that can run on low end laptop and pc, 

but with the new update, this make the old laptop and pc more streses and, mayeb there is some bug in the camera driver or anything, 

this happen after the new update, 

i dont have a problem with 5.12 or 5.13.0

yes, the new feautures is good, but the camera is getting lagy ,freze and distort...

Please help. My team urgently needs to view recordings.

I've been troubleshooting this issue a lot and cannot find anything in the support knowledge based that solves it. 

In my zoom application - I can see my local recordings saved to my recordings folder that I initiated. When someone has shared a local recording with me, and I've saved it to the proper folder, it does not show up. The files in the folders of my initiated recordings and recordings shared with me from others are the same file types. This same issue occurs for me (paid subscription) as well as others in my team (free accounts). 

 

I'll attach screen shots to show:

  1. Zoom application - showing recordings I've initiated only
  2. File Explorer Zoom recording folder - meetings saved from other people
  3. Folder of meeting recoding initiated by me
  4. Folder of meeting recoding initiated by someone else and shared with me

Hi all,

 

My Zoom meetings started freezing every few seconds. It used to be so much better. My Zoom version is up-to-date.  Just bought a new high-speed Internet. I don't have any similar products running on my computer. I even close all of the apps (including Internet, docs etc) all to no avail.

I wonder if it may have something to do with my account provisioned in the US but I am located in Canada??? I could be connecting to the US server instead of the  local one here in Canada. Then again, my Zoom experience was really good until a couple of months ago when all of a sudden it started giving me this freezing problem. Thinking that my 2-yr old  router could be the issue, I got a new router. The Internet speed is extremely high.  So, I don't think it has anything to do with the router. 

 

Any suggestions would be much  appreciated.  Thank you in advance...

Zoom for Mac 5.14.5 update nukes prefs on launch

Heads up: It seems installing the IT pkg version 5.14.5 for Mac erases the local prefs and database on app launch. The prefs stay in place after installation but upon launch it will erase the prefs, require SSO sign in again and to the consternation ... Show more

The prefs stay in place after installation but upon launch it will erase the prefs, require SSO sign in again and to the consternation of users, erases all their locally stored backgrounds.

~/Library/Application\ Support/zoom.us/data/zoomus.enc.db
~/Library/Preferences/ZoomChat.plist

The notes mention "Security enhancements" so I guess this falls under that, but kind of a bummer for folks with prolific background libraries.

But I would like to have a transcription of the calls. I don't want to buy a 10 user license as there are only three of us in the enterprise.

 

I understand that is the licence that is needed for transcription - is that correct and if so, does anyone have any solutions?

Есть лицензия Zoom One Pro.

При назначении лицензии пользователю всплывает сообщение:

При этом у всех пользователей стоит базовый тип пользователя.
