I am seeing a weird behaviour whereby the chat window automatically opening as soon as certain people enter a meeting.  No one has posted in chat, the mere act of someone joining is causing this.  Not 100% certain, but I think it only happens when a Windows user joins the call and not when Linux or macOS users join.  I am using Zoom 5.13.7 on Ubuntu.

Hey all,

I recently downloaded the auto-generated captions (.VTT) file for a seminar meeting recording from my employer and fixed the captions in TextEdit to be more accurate, as many words were misspelled as expected. How can I re-upload this file/replace the original .VTT associated with the recording so that the corrected captions are displayed? I didn't seem to find an easy way to this, other than manually (and rather tediously) replace all the captions in the 'edit boxes' on the right hand side of the recording.

Thanks.

I emailed someone a video and now want to make the shared information/video, transcript, unviewable.  If I delete it in my account, will the video be unviewable?

I am trying to configure Zoom Meetings clients to not display the "Sign Up" button when you first launch the Zoom meeting client. However, it still displays even if i set it not to via GPO or via install switch for the MSI installer. I am using the lastest ADMX files (5.14.10) and running the MSI install 5.14.8 (16213).

I've tried DisableUserSignUp to 1 in CLI  ZConfig="NoSSO=1;nogoogle=1;nofacebook=1;EnableAppleLogin=0;DisableUserSignUp=1"

I've also tried Enabling the Group Policy setting "Set to hide the sign up button" under User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Zoom Meetings/Zoom General Settings

Hi, as I was logging in to a zoom meeting a few days ago, my device said it was updating and ever since then, every time I go on zoom, my screen flashes away like some kind of LSD trip and I have to turn my camera off! Can anyone please advise?

Hi everyone,

When someone requests a meeting with me through Calendly, Calendly connects with Zoom and automatically creates a meeting.  Which is great. But it makes meeting invitees wait in a waiting room upon entry, which I don’t want.  I see that instead of creating a waiting room and making invitees wait in it, Zoom can instead send a meeting invite link that includes a password.  That’s what I would like to do for meetings automatically created by Calendly.  How can I do that?

Thanks!

I apologize if this has been asked somewhere or is found online. I tried searching and failed to find it.

I am a sysadmin and I'm currently in the process of whipping up a new script to install Zoom via MSI to my group, utilizing group policies for the management of Zoom. When I look at the management GPOs, there are a lot of duplicates between group policies and the zConfig parameters passed during install.

My question is, do I still need the zConfig parameters during the install if I'm applying a managed group policy object to the Zoom application after the fact?

Thank you, in advance, for any information or help you can provide!

Best Regards,
