Hi,

How do I undo the "always open in app" setting on Windows (I use the Brave browser if this is a browser-specific thing)?

Whenever I start a meeting, it automatically launches the app. However, I need some meetings to start in the browser so I would like to get the "How do you want to open this URL" window back, but I haven't found how.

Thanks,

L

I'm an Executive Assistant I schedule meetings for myself, and 3 executives.

At other organizations IT has set it up so my Google calendar Add-On just has a drop down where it will fill in the executive's appropriate zoom info. I can't seem to figure out how to set this up myself at my new organization.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Right now I'm having to log in to their zoom accounts individually, create a meeting, then copy & paste it into the calendar invite. It's quite time consuming.

Thanks!

Thanks.

EDIT: I have a Zoom One paid account, so perhaps that's why?

Hi,

I am using 'dual monitors' with the second one being a projector. This usually displays a text or image, but sometimes we need to show the active zoom window i.e. a spotlighted participant.

This works fine apart from when we share screen, the issue is that the main monitor switches to display the participants full screen rather than windowed as before sharing. If we 'Exit Full Screen' (or double click) this returns the main monitor windowed size BUT the second window also exits full screen!

I've been through all of the share screen options (even advanced) but I can't seem to stop the second screen 'following' the zoom of the main one 😞

This is repeatable on different devices.

Resolved! Immersive View

How many of you have started using the new Immersive View? I use it for small meetings that I am not sharing my screen often, but I only used the views offered.  Have you created any custom views?

I recently upgraded my Mac desktop to Ventura 13.4   Zoom  works fine, on my laptop  but  I cannot grant permission to Zoom to use my camera and microphone on the MAC.    Zoom tells me to go to my computer's settings, then privacy, and check the box for Zoom indicating it can use my camera, same for microphone.   But when i go to settings and privacy, no program is listed there as needing permission.    ( I tried with Google meet as well with the same result so the problem isn't only with Zoom.  The camera itself works ( with Facetime).

I have reinstalled Zoom and rebooted .  Any solution much appreciated . Thanks

Screen Share

Recently, when I'm hosting a meeting I get a message that I'm restricted from sharing my screen. I've reviewed Zoom permissions and my Mac settings and I can't figure out why this is happening suddenly. Any suggestions?
