Hi

I am still having issues with my microphone going mute while screen sharing. I cannot do both. I can only share a screenshot if I close this message and send another one.

My microphone shuts off during a screen share on my computer. I have to stop the share to unmute. If I start to share again it mutes. I have this issue every single time. I cannot follow all of this at once. I can't take a picture on my camera of the directions because its screen is too small.

On my Kindle tablet, I lose the use of the camera when I share my screen.  I need help with that, too.

Thank you

Dear Zoom Community Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm Kasmuki, and I have been a long-time user of Zoom. I am planning to purchase a new laptop and would like to ensure that the Zoom software is optimized in terms of energy performance during meetings.

Looking at the years between 2018 and 2022, I have noticed that Zoom has released several patches and updates, and I am curious to know if there have been any changes during this period aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the Zoom software. I am aware that Zoom can be resource-intensive, especially during video conferences, which can result in increased power consumption.

I would like to learn more about the specific measures Zoom has taken to enhance the energy performance of the software. Have there been any improvements in the patches and updates between 2018 and 2022 that target reducing power consumption during meetings? What optimizations have been made to extend battery life and improve overall system performance?

It would be immensely helpful if you could provide information about the changes made during this period to optimize Zoom's energy performance. Additionally, I would appreciate any specific recommendations to further enhance the energy efficiency of Zoom during meetings.

Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Kasmuki

The latest update (January 2022) to Zoom appears to be incompatible with my Logitech headset.  The update made it so that if I went into preferences and tried to test my sound, I would hear a loud, repeating clicking sound.  This also happened when I joined a call and unmuted my microphone.  I use OS High Sierra and had to downgrade to Zoom version 5.8.4 (2421) to fix the problem.  I tried a different Logitech headset thinking that was the problem, but the problem persisted.  Only rolling back the update fixed the problem.  The latest update introduced a bug.

Creating meetings via API is not working.

We are calling this API:

https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/:userId/meetings

We get the following error:

Status code 401. Response: {"code":124,"message":"Invalid access token."}

Trying the same activity via the Zoom API collection is giving this error:

"Account does not enabled REST API"

Not being able to start a zoom

Any advice on starting a zoom besides using the browser function? Not able to log on any longer or do screen share?
