My girlfriend is using zoom for some classes she's taking, and we are trying to setup virtual backgrounds. She has a Dell laptop running Windows 10, unfortunately I'm not there to get the exact specs. I also know she updated her zoom today to the newest version. The problem she is having is when she turns on virtual backgrounds it filters her out, and a few other things in the foreground, and leaves the background alone. With how her desk is situated it would be difficult to put up a green screen.

About to switch off the notification for participate entering and raise their hand

Is there any method or setting that can switch off the notification for people entering the zoom meeting or raise their hands? Thanks for answering my question.

In my Outlook client on Windows 10 (build 2304 v16327.20324) I don't see the "Join Online" button on either the reminder window or the calendar/to-do bar (right side of outlook window).

This DOES work on Outlook on the Web, iOS (calendar item, join button visible) and the "NEW" Outlook (which seems like an exe wrapped version of Outlook on the web).

I tried removing and reinstalling the extension from Outlook but no improvement.

Teams meetings show the Join Online button properly in Outlook reminders/to-do bar.

Thoughts? Is this working for anyone at the moment in Outlook client on windows?

Thanks

Automatic muting after breakout session

My own mic as a moderator and/or those of my students are often automatically muted when we return from a breakout session. Is there a way to avoid this?

I have one computer in my office and another at home.  Currently my office computer is logged into zoom, but I'm at home.  When I tried to join a meeting from my home computer, Zoom logged me out with the error, "You have been signed out because your account is signed in from another device."  Because I'm not at my office, I can't log out of the other computer and now I can't join meetings from my home computer.

Resolved! re-allow removed participants

If I do NOT allow removed participants to rejoin, and if I do remove someone from the meeting, how do I then re-allow that person to join the active meeting, if I want to?

EMAIL ACCESS

Hello, I have one problem

Zoom still remember my old email account, which was stolen one year ago, if I want to change my email, zoom send and confirm email to that OLD  STOLEN ONE, what can I do to remove it forever??

Thanks!

Blurred background is my only option and I don't want that.

I'm on a windows system, and I cannot get the blurred background to turn off, even when I select "none" as my background option.

Resolved! Zoom VDI plugin for Apple Silicone is not recognized with the Zoom VDI Client

Hi,

I'm using Zoom VDI client ver. 5.12.6 (22200) and connecting from Mac Air M1 that has ZoomVDI Plugin for Citrix ver. 5.12.6 (22200) installed (using also Citrix Workspace 23.01.0.53 (2301).

I'm unable to share the screen nor see the shared screen while on zoom meeting (only audio is working) as well as start video (both of the options are not available) and the ZoomVDI client shows that:

VDI Plugin Status: Not Connected

VDI Connection Error: Plugin not Recognized

also VDI Plugin version is not available

I have been previously using Intel based Macbook Air and using the same plugin version it all worked fine. I have also tried all possible combinations of running either Citrix or zoom VDI plugin using Rosetta as well as well as trying to use lower version of plugin as the actual zoom VDI client, but unfortunately without any success.

Any ideas or help will be appreciated!
