😡 😤 Alright! Where are my tech people? I have a question about making recordings on my paid Zoom Acct. I use a decent 1080p HD webcam along with my cellphone as a top view camera during recordings. Sometimes I make a video and it comes out at a frame size of 640p x 360p and sometimes, I’ll record EXACTLY the same thing the same way and it’ll record at 1280p x 720p. The smaller resolution translates to a very grainy video quality when made full screen! PLEASE! Can SOMEONE out there tell me why this happens?!?!?

Hi folks,

New to the Zoom community board, but not new to Zoom. I work in healthcare and we are providing a small telehealth service working with a large team of per diem staff who need access to a Zoom license specifically when they are on a consult. Rather than have licenses for all per diems, we are looking to share the licenses. Looking for the cleanest way to do this, as well as ensure my staff do not knock each other off during a meeting.

From my initial research, I see two likeliest options:

  1. Utilizing "host key" to share the 5 licenses. That looks to be only for scheduled meetings (our needs are not scheduled meetings and the timing of such are impossible to predict), as well as occur 24/7.
  2. Utilizing a "Channel" where shared licensed accounts will live. Staff would have basic accounts, log in, review the Channel to identify an available license, then sign in via that license.

My current plan is to proceed with Approach #2 above.

Two questions then for this community:

  • Is there a way to utilize Approach #1 ("Host Key") that doesn't require "scheduled meetings", and could be handled by a single end user in the middle of the night (e.g. when no one with access to the licensed email is available to assist)?
  • How can I ensure (particularly with Approach #2, but also with #1 if this is also a risk there) that someone doesn't accidentally knock another off, if the account is logged into by a separate device? Is it possible to toggle that the license stays logged in on the active video session, versus the new log in? To prevent accidental disconnects.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have a user that uses two accounts: 1 for her work zoom, and another as a company account for monthly large events.

It seems that for her personal company account use, she is able to share audio after enabling it once. And for the company account, she is able to share it for 1 on 1 meetings as well. However, whenever we have monthly catchups and use the webinar feature which includes 300 plus people, the share audio prompt comes up everytime when she selects it. Was wondering if there is a solution to this issue as we constantly have to give her admin credentials in order to install? Prompt looks like this:

Hi, Zoom has started to open the meeting room window at the top of my screen where the title bar is inaccessible.

Even thought I can move it using Window's snap it keeps opening here.

Shouldn't Zoom remember where you position the meeting window?

This looks like a bug?

Thanks 🙂

I have taught online with Zoom for years. My students pay me through Square invoices, so I have used the Square Appointments product for years to handle private lesson scheduling. Because of certain limitations and bugs, I plan to move away from that solution and would like to use the Zoom calendar and scheduler moving forward. I have read the documentation, and I have tried a few experiments, but I'm having some trouble accomplishing what I intend. Some clarity, please and thanks very much!

1) With Square Appointments, I set up a weekly recurring lesson time for each student myself at the beginning of each school year. Students are able to log in and cancel/reschedule single appointments as needed throughout the year, but they can't edit their recurring appointment. How do I replicate this workflow with Zoom? Is it Calendar, or Scheduler, or both? I can see that, with Scheduler, someone can find an opening and book it, but how would a student or their parent see, for instance, the lesson they have coming up later in the week in a calendar or list view somewhere, and either cancel it or reschedule it themselves?

2) Currently, new/prospective students can log in and choose an opening for their "consultation" without a recurring appointment for them in the calendar yet. I believe this would be accomplished with Zoom Scheduler, yes?

3) I already connected my Google calendar to Zoom Scheduler. Now I am confused, because when trying to use the calendar in the Zoom desktop app, it's still asking me to connect a calendar. I thought I did that already? Or is connecting a Google calendar to Zoom Scheduler a different thing than connecting a Google calendar to Zoom Calendar? I think I am confused about the intersection of these two products.

If these three questions belong in separate threads, I'll split them up. Thanks in advance!

A few days ago I tried out the new Avatar BETA feature. It worked well and I created an avatar for my informal meeting. But when I tried to disable the avatar, the camera showed as if it was disabled, even though it is on and the camera light shows it's capturing. I have reset my Windows camera, restarted, updated camera software and Zoom software - but nothing has worked. Even now when I go into Windows camera settings it shows as enabled, but I get no image. Even the other VC apps doe the same now. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help, I am a teacher and need to be on camera. Thank you.

Increasing seats for a meeting

I have a Pro plan and have added a one month add on to increase seats from 100 to 500. I have purchased this but people still can't register.

I think there is some other setting that needs to be changed but I can't find it.

Usng two different Zoom accounts

I have used a corporate account and a personal account.  When I log in using my personal account, it still has my name in the corporate account.  I can't seem to exit the corporate account.
