Mute on/off is slow on Windows only

Mute on/off is slow on Windows only

The Mac version switches instantly, but the Windows version waits for about 0.5 seconds after pressing it, so it feels strange.

There are at least two issues when annotating a window screen-shared by a Wayland (Linux) user.

Steps to reproduce the issues:

  1. A Linux user shares a window (NOT the full screen) on Wayland.
  2. Another user annotates on the shared window.

Issues:

  1. The annotation is not aligned with the shared window, but is wrongly aligned to the entire screen for the Linux user.
  2. The annotation disappears after a few seconds on the annotator's screen, but remains on the Linux user's screen

Expected behaviour:

  1. The annotation is aligned on all users' screens.
  2. The annotation remains on all users' screens until cleared.

All systems running current Zoom Room and NDI Versions

Over 30 Zoom rooms deployed. Custom PC with 4 NDI Cams using the NDI Webcam app and Zoom Room. 90%  of the time the Four webcam feeds will work just fine. Then when a user walks into the room to use the zoom room system all of a sudden they start the call and get blank video on all 4 NDI Webcam feeds while using multicam.

very frustrating.

interested in using the beta NDI but need to be added to the beta group. That way I can bypass the NDI Webcam app

During a weekly 3-hour meeting, the participant list shows that all participants are muted. Nevertheless, we can hear when one particular participant clears his throat.  This happens week after week. The mute icon on the participant list shows that he's muted and doesn't change when we hear him clear his throat. This has gotten very annoying since it happens  every few minutes for three hours every week.

What's going on? How can we suppress this audio?

Zoom automatically split the recording in 4 parts. Why?

Hi there,

I recorded a Zoom meeting, and for the first time ever Zoom recorded it in parts.

This never happened before. Does anyone know why?

And how I can avoid this/make sure it does not happen again?

Thank you!

Regards
Laura

Hi

Iv been advised I before from a customer service member a couple of months ago that zoom are able to send me the recording of my divorce court case in September of 2022. I need this recording of this court case for evidence, as the judge that was sitting this hearing. With out a doubt was racist during the hearing. I need this recording so much to provide it as evidence for contempt of court.

I keep trying to contact them again. Tho some how I've been unsuccessful to be able to talk with a human rather than Zoe the robot. Please can any1 provide a answer or a link I can use to speak to a human in customer service 🙏 😊

Thank you so much

When I am on a Zoom call I have it set up on half of my screen. Whenever I open or close chat in a meeting the zoom window resizes and changes position. When chat is opened, instead of resizing the elements within the zoom window to create room for the chat window, the entire Zoom window resizes, adding on the width to display the chat. When chat is closed, the Zoom window resizes to the original size, but it's screen positioning is shifted left. Fix: Do not change the window size when chat is opened.

Zoom window sized to half of the screen:

When chat is opened, Zoom window width increases to fit chat.

When chat is closed, Zoom window width returns to original width, but stays aligned to where it expanded to the left.

Edit: Same experience with participants.
