My video is not working on the zoom application, I am on a lenovo yoga running windows 11 with the latest zoom workplace application downloaded. My windows 11 os is up to date and my drivers are up to date. The Zoom application does have access to video in my privacy selection. My camera is working, I am able to use my camera with google meets and with zoom via my chrome browser. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the application and I receive the same result. I also receive a message that pops up and says " Virtual Background is Still Loading, Start Video Anyway?" This message also pops up after I have removed the background, which is a an image, to not having an image at all. Not sure what else to do here.

Hi, I bought a new android tablet (a very minor item) and although my bluetooth headset works in other applications like hearing youtube, it does not work on zoom meetings. Microphone and audio comes from the tablet itself. I tried the nearby device settings (it's on), reinstalling zoom, and restarting the system. I even did factory reset of the tablet and it still doesn't work.

using a wired earphone with microphone works. 

How can I make my bluetooth headset work?

I choose Recording to the computer, the meeting last 1.5 hours,before I end the meeting,I forgot to choose stop recording, after I closed the meeting,I didn't see any record!

But I try again,for the short meeting last 1-2 minutes,if I didn't choose stop recording,then after I ended,it still has record.

But for that 1.5 hour meeting,I don't have any record on my computer.

closed captioning does not work

I am using the web client on a desktop.  The closed caption option does not work.  There is nothing in the live transcription area either.   Closed caption is "on".  Nothing appears

Hi, I have a huge problem. I can't seem to find a recording I did last night. I wasn't the host but I was given permission to record the meeting. This has happened previously and I didn't have a problem about this before until now. I followed all the steps to recovering non-converted recordings, and that Zoom would already have that saved incase you want to convert it. The problem is it's not showing up in my app and webportal. As well as the meeting that took place, it isn't in my history as well.

Hi, I have ZOOM 6.2.6, but just upgraded to the newest version.  For the past several ZOOM meetings, my guests have a message that tells them that the host has joined, but there is no indication on my end that anyone is in the waiting room nor an option to admit them. :(. Any suggestions?

Hi, my scheduled meetings have all disappeared from my Zoom account. They haven't been deleted, they're just not there. I need to use the same links and not create new meetings as all my clients have the links saved. I just tested one link in an email that I had sent to a client and the meeting started, so it seems to be working. Can my meetings be reinstated to my account?

Zoom app: kudos!

I want to say thank you for enabling Apps inside Zoom. This is a super useful feature! I do online training with groups of 25-30 people at a time. I use Miro as a whiteboard tool and I have always asked individual people to open Miro in their own bro... Show more

I want to say thank you for enabling Apps inside Zoom. This is a super useful feature!

 

I do online training with groups of 25-30 people at a time. I use Miro as a whiteboard tool and I have always asked individual people to open Miro in their own browser. This forces them to have 2 windows open - Zoom and Miro - and often they are on a laptop, making it difficult to see both windows.

Since I enabled the Miro app inside Zoom, they can see the whiteboard within Zoom, and only need 1 window.

 

I also appreciate that the Miro app stays open as the participants move into a breakout room for some activities, and come back to the main room. The app is activated once, and they continue to collaborate on it throughout the entire session.

 

There are a few limitations that I hope can be addressed in the future:

- the app only works if people have the zoom app installed, not in a browser

- for the host, if I jump into a breakout room, the app is disabled.  I need to re-enable the app in the breakout room, but this also resets the app for the participants there. So jumping from one room to another is no longer practical if I want them to use the Miro app.

- for the host, if I share my screen, the app is disabled. I need to re-enable it for the participants. I may want to do a quick screen share for maybe a webpage or a document I'd like them to see, and then close the screenshare. But when I close it, the app is gone.

- For the host, the apps panel is on the right. When I start an app it shows on the right. When I click "collaborate" to share it with everyone else, it moves to the left. This is distracting... is it needed?

- For the host, the apps panel is busy and confusing.

- There could be an option to enable/disable the apps in the breakout rooms, or select which apps are available there.

I haven't tried a multi-app setup where I have more than one app active at a time. I feel that first I need to make the one-app setup work well, before I go to the next level. I'm afraid that in a multi-app setup the issues above may be compounded, and I may not have easy access or visibility into what app the participants see or have access to.

 

Thanks for listening to these suggestions, and keep up the good work! The idea of integrating apps inside Zoom is awesome!
