Hi. me and my class mates getting direct messages from someone who's using our names during class. one time one of my class mate received direct message from someone who used my name. it's not me who sent DM to her and there's no one with the same name as me in the class. and today several people received rude message from another person ( i will use fake name for that person "Carol"). She sent really rude DM to several people. The actual Carol who's in a class didn't send that DM. Most of us received the same message at the same time. Is it possible someone who's in our class is using our name? Every time we received that kind of DM we checked people who's in the zoom meeting and only the real person is in the meeting. and we can't reply to that person who's using our names. That happened to anyone?

I am having some problems configuring calendar integration from a "Zoom video conference system" account used for a video meeting room. Also the user activation is a bit of a hazzle, not being able to login to the mailbox of the account for some reason (Exchange). I guess this is mandatory to activate the user and be able to assign a license to it? Or are there other ways to assign licenses to a video device? 

Can you guys refer me to documents that describes how to configure an account in Exchange 365 to be used for Zoom? I need to be able to book the room/video device in the Outlook Calendar.

Keep getting kicked off

I use a MAC. Zoom kept saying an update was necessary when signing on. I would allow the update...but it kept coming back with an error code. I looked up the error code and followed the instructions as to how to get the update on my MAC. I no longer ... Show more

I use a MAC. Zoom kept saying an update was necessary when signing on. I would allow the update...but it kept coming back with an error code. I looked up the error code and followed the instructions as to how to get the update on my MAC. I no longer get the error code. However, since updating (it may or not be connected) I keep getting dropped. This is not good in the midst of a counseling situation. I just had a coaching session (50 minutes) and was dropped 6 times.  I get the little circle and re-connected in about a minute. I do not have other programs on (it was suggested I close them all) and my internet is strong. Because I'm a not-for profit, I got my account through tech soup and when I call for tech support they tell me I'm not eligible. On line suggestions include going to my picture and seeing if I have all available downloads...but that is not possible on my tech soup version that I can find...there is not drop down menu below my picture...HELP! please!

I am currently doing some private lessons, and since i am currently abroad my teacher has been sending me zoom recordings... this system was working perfectly fine, until around 2 weeks ago i've had the same identical issues precisely...

 

When the teacher sends the zoom recording link, the passcode is being combined within the link... here is an example link, note it's only a mock link in this case....

when i press the actual link as it is above

i get a 404 not found error

so then my next idea is to seperate the passcode from the link...

this gets me a little closer as i see the window for "enter passcode to watch "xyz meeting"...

 

but then the passcode is allegedly incorrect, i've reached out to my teacher and i can confirm i am inputting the correct password, yet it still says it is incorrect.

I am really hoping you can help me as this is driving me crazy!!

 

I have used Zoom for calls / joined external Zoom calls for a years and never had any issues.  In the last few weeks my microphone keeps dropping mid call and no one can hear me. 

 

I am not logged into my account when it happens I am joining an external call so just use the link to join, I mute and unmute the call but no luck and I've even tried leaving the call and then joining again but this also doesn't work.  The calls start off fine and then a few minutes in just stops working.   I can hear people on the call they just can't hear me. 

 

I am using windows and have checked the microphone settings and it says no problems found, seems to work fine and permissions are on to allow apps to use the microphone.  What else can I try as I need this for work and I can't find any help from Zoom directly.

Resolved! Zoom goes behind the Windows task bar when going fullscreen when a meeting starts

This mostly obscures the audio and video buttons at the lower left corner. On top of that, it looks bad. I'm a longtime Windows and Mac developer, so I think you need to do more than just get the main desktop size.  I'd start with a search: taskbar ... Show more

I'd start with a search: taskbar height site:stackoverflow.com

 

You also want to check whether the taskbar is visible or not, and it can be on the sides or top of the screen, so take that into account.

"I need help, I'm having issues with the recording settings in my paid account for 100 people. It's giving me videos in a resolution of 1280 × 720, but I used to be able to record in full HD. I  try following the instructions but don't see that in my settings.   Follow the below instructions to enable Group HD in 1080p:
Access Zoom via the web portal.
Click Settings in the navigation bar on the left of the screen.
Click on the Meetings tab.
Navigate to the In Meeting (Advanced) section.
Click on Group HD video to enable HD.
Select the Full HD (1080p) option.
Click Save.                                                                                                                                                                                                Could some one guide me?

no video image of one participant

The video image of one participate in my meeting does not show up. She states that her camera is on. She also states that she does not have this problem in other Zoom meetings that she attends. Only my meeting. No other participant has this difficult... Show more
