Has anyone has good success with Google Meet?  I've used it a few times yet came back to Zoom due to the filtering! 🙂

It's getting to the point of being mildly disruptive to majorly disruptive to my biz.....tired of restarts, removing drivers for reload, full scan of computer (Proofpoint) Browser is Chrome (reloaded again this AM) omigosh.

Would LOVE any feedback on Google Meet (small business needs here)  Thanks!

We are all full-remote in my company and we have a few company-wide meetings, which we have recorded. However, sharing each meeting recording is a painful manual step. Is there a way to automatically share the Zoom link and password of the meeting with a number of people when the meeting is over? I could imagine many different ways: posting a message to Slack, adjusting a Google Calendar event, sending emails, ...

Is there currently an automatic way to share Zoom meeting recordings with a number of people?

I have recently subscribed to the premium version of Zoom to hold virtual meetings with my clients and colleagues. However, I am encountering a problem where my colleagues are unable to join the meetings that I have scheduled.

My primary motivation for upgrading to the premium version was to facilitate unlimited connections without any time restrictions. However, this issue has severely hindered my ability to conduct seamless meetings with my colleagues.

I urgently require a solution to this problem as I have an upcoming meeting with my colleagues regarding the massage chair. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Facing and issue, but didn't found any references how to solve it..

I'm trying to setup Zoom VDI on Dell Wyse ThinOS using Citrix provisioning.

Everything installed and configured as resommended including Citrix vitrual chanels, but..

When I start Zoom VDI from Wyse I can see only local video (camera), no remote video is received, also local video is not transmitted to other Zoom clients. Black screen instead of video.  After a minute Zoom app chashes.

If disable VDI plugin and optimization then Zoom vorks, but tooooo slow.

When connect to Citrix from Windows using Citrix Workspace + Plugin then Zoom VDI works fine.

Zoom VDI & plugin: 5.8.4 (latest available for Wyse)

VDI: Windows 10

Dell Wyse 3040 9.1.5067

Is it possible to solve this issue, or at least diagnose it somehow?

Hi,

Is there a way to view a browser / web page with another person during a Zoom meeting.

It is known as shared browsing - see this article:

https://alvarotrigo.com/blog/shared-browsing/

I'm an online tutor and would like the ability to be able to interact with a web page with students in real time, eg, a page like this:

https://ictgames.com/mobilePage/placeValuePieces/index.html

..so that we can both engage with the learning tool.

There are a few solutions out there but not sure if there are any for Zoom?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

kind regards

Matt

I have not previously had any problems joining a Zoom meeting but there is one particular host whose meeting I have not been able to join. When I got to the stage of seeing my camera image I clicked on the blue Join button and got the message "Zoom quit unexpectedly". I tried entering the meeting ID and passcode manually as well as using the link and got the same message. I was using the latest version of Zoom. I tried uninstalling Zoom and then downloading and re-installing but still the same problem. Other people however, were able to join the meeting. Over the next three days I had Zoom meetings with other hosts without problem. Then when I tried to join a second meeting with the 'problem' host I got the same error. The host's organisation has two Zoom accounts and I have had no problems joining meetings on their other account. I am using Windows 10 on a laptop.

Has anyone seen this before and is their a solution?

Thanks
Mike

Hello,

Using Zoom Desktop with a 2nd monitor at the back of the room so faculty can see far end students. If the room shares the  powerpoint will show on the main screen at the front of the room. However, if a remote participant shares it send content to the screen at the back of the room. Currently no matrix and control system in the room. Is there any options to tell zoom what monitor you want share content to show on when a remote participant is sharing?

Thank you
