Qualify your Attendees with Routing Forms in Zoom Scheduler

At the start of last month, I had a customer call where they raised  a few concerns and wondered if Zoom had any means to resolve them. They felt the back-and-forth of scheduling meetings quite dragging. Their team struggled to keep track of and prioritize meeting requests. They basically wanted to streamline their scheduling process and improve efficiency.

 

So I recommended they take advantage of the Zoom Scheduler Routing Forms, it allows you to create customizable forms that automatically route meeting requests to the appropriate person or team based on the information provided by the scheduler.

 

How it Works:

  1. Create a Routing Form: Design a form with specific questions relevant to your scheduling needs (e.g., meeting topic, location, or urgency).   
  2. Set Up Routing Rules: Define the rules for routing based on the form responses. For example, you could route requests to different teams or individuals based on the meeting topic.
  3. Share the Scheduling Link: Once the routing form is set up, share the unique scheduling link with others.
  4. Automatic Routing: When someone schedules a meeting using the link, they'll be prompted to fill out the form. Their responses will then be used to automatically route the meeting request to the appropriate person or team.  
     

Luckily, they were open to the idea and tried to implement it on their IT, HR, sales, and customer support departments. They soon realized that this tool helped customers save time and improve their team's response times. They gladly shared what they did with the feature in a sync with me last week.

 

They had their IT support teams route requests based on issue severity. Their HR directed interview requests to the appropriate hiring managers. And their Sales teams qualified leads and scheduled product demos more efficiently. It was a fun and engaging meeting, good enough to share this here to let Zoom users know that it's available and it works.

 

By automating the routing process, Zoom users can ensure that meeting requests are handled promptly and effectively. I'm sharing this in hopes that Zoom Users can get the most out of the Zoom Scheduler and have the right attendees book the right meetings.

Workplace Screen Shuffle

Bring back old zoom! Why is Workplace such a nightmare of clicks when i want to shuffle between meet and a doc I may have on second screen? I used to be able to tab between my meeting screen and other program i have open. Now i have to go in to Zoom ... Show more

Why is Workplace such a nightmare of clicks when i want to shuffle between meet and a doc I may have on second screen?

 

I used to be able to tab between my meeting screen and other program i have open. Now i have to go in to Zoom - Window- Workplace meet to get back to my colleagues? There is NOTHING anywhere on this BASIC issue.

 

3 clicks too many!!!!

 

We will be moving to BigMarker if this isnt fixed in the next few months. 

 

Bring the DOGE into Zoom.

Small non-business hybrid meetings

Imagine 5 to 15 retired seniors meeting to be taught and/or discuss a subject of interest. Sometimes all parties are in their homes connecting by Zoom. Sometimes everyone except the speaker is in one room like a church social hall or the back room of a small restaurant with a large screen TV and an upgraded microphone/camera on a laptop.

 

The problem is that most of the time there are a mix of people in the room on phones, tablets or laptops; There are also people in the room depending on a communal monitor, speaker, mike and camera to participate. Finally, there are some people trying to be in both worlds with a phone for speaker and mike, but using the monitor to see the group. 

 

The pure groups work fine but the mixed groups have problems with not enough volume, not enough mike sensitivity and feedback.

 

I am sure that part of the problem involves managing the layout of the groups but part of the problem is not having the right equipment. We are not a business with mega bucks to spend on IT consultants and room rentals. How do I identify equipment that is likely to work in this environment, is portable, and is durable.

Audio- Microphone issues

I'm a new Pro user. Signed up for Pro because I had hoped it would solve my audio-microphone issues. I am a music teacher and teach 95% of my lessons online using Zoom. Mysteriously(?) the function that allowed me to hear my students play their music... Show more

I'm a new Pro user.

 

Signed up for Pro because I had hoped it would solve my audio-microphone issues. I am a music teacher and teach 95% of my lessons online using Zoom.

 

Mysteriously(?) the function that allowed me to hear my students play their musical instruments live during our lessons seems to have gone away, or its service level has significantly degraded.

 

So now, I can't hear my students playing their instruments. Or, what I can hear, cuts in and out constantly preventing me from truly hearing a student's performance (which is critical when you teach the way I do).

 

To add to my frustration (I have had to cancel lessons two weeks in a row; this is seriously impacting my ability to do business), I cannot seem to get telephone or even chat support from Zoom Tech Support. I thought my Pro subscription would give me these advantages.

 

So, I'm appealing for help. I don't think my business can tolerate 3 weeks of lost billable hours. Please help me ASAP!

Zoom meeting setup and sent to me but i never receive them

Someone sent me a Zoom link for a meeting, I never received it

I checked the box, trash and junk, but nothing.

 

The email is working

Zoom is working

 

I log in with my work email same as my Zoom email; however, it seems to grab my Chrome browser email, which is different but doesn't send a link to that other email or the one it says it is.

 

So to recap 

request sent but never received at my email

I sent one myself from Zoom, and it flipped the email to my different browser email.
I checked Zoom settings, and it's set for my work email, not my browser.

Note: Zoom does not use any customer audio, video, chat, screen sharing, attachments, or other communication-related content (such as poll results, whiteboard, and reactions) to train Zoom’s or its third-party artificial intelligence models and feedback will still be reviewed for potential future release.

Compartilhamento tela cheia

Quando estou apresentando slides no modo apresentação, não aparece para os participantes a mudança de slides. 

Eles só conseguem visualizar o primeiro slide, enquanto para mim está passando normal.

Alguém sabe como resolver isso?
