Introducing Zoom Scheduler.

Zoom Scheduler is a powerful scheduling tool designed to streamline appointment and meeting management. It integrates with popular calendars, supports various event types (one-on-one, group, round-robin), and automates workflows like reminders and follow-ups. Customizable notifications, detailed analytics, and branding options enhance the user experience. For teams, it offers advanced features like booking on behalf of others, managing permissions, and SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) for security. Zoom Scheduler is cost-effective, time-saving, and helps improve both individual and team scheduling efficiency.

Zoom Scheduler offers many similar features to other scheduling tools like Calendly, but at a lower starting price. It’s ideal for users already within the Zoom ecosystem, offering seamless integration with Zoom meetings and calendar tools.

Here's a comparison between Zoom Scheduler and Calendly.

Zoom Scheduler starts at a lower price point of $4.99 per month per seat, or is included with Zoom’s Business and Enterprise plans, while Calendly’s Standard plan begins at $10 per month per seat, and its Teams plan costs $16 per month per seat. Both platforms offer unlimited event types, such as one-on-one or group meetings, though Calendly’s free tier limits users to a single event type.

Zoom Scheduler and Calendly both allow up to six calendar connections per person and provide the ability to book meetings on behalf of others, as well as create automated workflows like reminders and follow-up messages.

Customization features such as notifications, reminders, and the ability to update cancellation policies or add links to confirmation pages are available on both platforms at their paid tiers. Zoom Scheduler and Calendly also support collective events and offer analytics and insights into scheduled meetings.

Branding and live chat support are included with paid plans as well. For team functionality, both platforms allow the creation of round-robin events, the use of routing forms, and the ability to lock and sync managed events across teams. Zoom Scheduler includes SAML single sign-on (SSO) in its business plans, while Calendly charges an additional $3 per user per month for the Teams plan but includes it with its Enterprise plan.

Overall, Zoom Scheduler offers similar features to Calendly at a lower base price, making it an appealing option for users already in Zoom’s ecosystem.

Let's get started with Zoom Scheduler!

Cheers!

As a professional constantly on the move, my work takes me to various client locations. Traveling is a significant part of my job, which keeps things exciting!

Despite being frequently on the road, I often rely on Zoom Meetings to connect with global teams. For instance, I might visit a client's headquarters in person, but the rest of the team would join us digitally from different corners of the world. This is where Nametags AI, developed by Warmly, becomes indispensable. It displays participants' names and details during our virtual meetings, which helps me engage more personally with each team member without having to awkwardly ask for names repeatedly or pretend to remember them.

Does anyone else have a favorite app that helps truly connect?

Here is a link - it's on the app store. https://marketplace.zoom.us/apps/vkBX54brQ0-iiSGtEx33vg

Did you know that millions of interviews happen with Zoom Meetings?

If you are on the hiring or recruiting team, learn more about  why BrightHire Interview Assistant and Zoom Meetings are better together, casting a spotlight on one of the many apps that customers rely on to get their work done.

According to Amy Schultz, Global Talent Acquisition Leader at Canva:

“We already love Zoom and use it for everything, and then when it comes to BrightHire, the key benefit for us is that it integrates with our applicant tracking system. The ATS is connected to a broader HR tech stack including other HRIS like Workday, our employee voice tool, and even survey tools like Culture Amp. The ability to easily pass data from our ATS into BrightHire about interview questions and then conduct interviews within Zoom Meetings to get a holistic view of notes, scores, and insights, is invaluable.”

The recently concluded Zoom AI Companion Webinar, led by Randy Maestre, Zoom’s Head of AI, Developer Ecosystem & Industry Marketing, and Enrique Plaza Garcia, Zoom’s Product Marketing Manager, provided a profound dive into Zoom’s AI capabilities. What sets Zoom apart is its unparalleled AI versatility, surpassing the constraints of single-model AI solutions.

The discussion revolved around how Zoom serves as a catalyst for seamless connection and collaboration, converging both employee and customer experiences within an intelligent, all-encompassing platform that garners genuine user affection. Randy spotlighted a staggering statistic – approximately 60% of a person’s workday is consumed by administrative tasks rather than value-added work, a significant productivity drain. In today’s hybrid work landscape, teams grapple with disengagement, underscoring the pressing need for heightened connectivity, a sense of belonging, and an enabling company culture, identified as prime drivers for successful digital transformation.

Moreover, Randy shed light on the fact that customer expectations have soared, with a significant 60% of customers indicating a willingness to switch brands after just one or two subpar experiences. These trends beg the question: What's causing these shifts? One prevalent challenge in the landscape of knowledge workers is the presence of friction and complexity. Enterprises, as Okta confirms, typically manage a staggering 211 different applications in their tech stack. This complexity poses a formidable obstacle to maintaining a streamlined, user-friendly experience, which employees increasingly desire.

In response to these challenges, Zoom introduced Zoom AI Companion just four weeks ago. This generative AI digital assistant empowers users to amplify productivity, enhance team effectiveness, and refine skills. Randy emphasized Zoom’s distinct approach to AI – a federated model that dynamically incorporates Zoom’s expansive language model alongside Meta Llama 2, OpenAI, and Anthropic. Importantly, no customer audio, video, chat, screen sharing, attachments, or other communication content is used to train Zoom’s or third-party AI models. Admins and account owners maintain precise control over the activation of AI features (all features are initially disabled). Meeting hosts are granted controls once enabled, and participants are apprised when features are in use. Ultimately, Zoom AI empowers our customers to achieve higher productivity, better team connections, and deliver top-tier customer experiences – all in an intuitive manner, seamlessly integrated into your daily workflows across the Zoom platform.
