Zoom on Linux (Ubuntu) Version 6.1.0.198 So, the new version (see above) finally brought the new look that was announced earlier with version 6.0.0 (4563). Yes, it looks more modern. 👍 But It removes window decorations like the title bar and the borders. As someone who uses the title bar to see whether a window is "sticky" in a multi-desktop setup (sticky means, it moves around with me while I change desktop), this makes the Zoom app less efficient. In just one day, I had already so many occasions on which I left behind a Zoom window (keep in mind that the stickiness changes whenever someone stops sharing a screen) that I got very disappointed with the change. I looked around in the settings to find something that would bring the window decorations back, but wasn't successful. Does anyone have any pointers how to get window decorations back? Is it even possible? If not, is there any chance the Product Management at Zoom listens? (If I need to edit weird text files, that's fine. 25+ years Linux user here.)

Hello, I am unable to join a zoom meeting. The app keeps crashing everytime I try to join a meeting. I am able to join a waiting room but everytime the meeting will launch, my zoom app crashes. I have tried uninstalling-re installing-uninstalling- several times but the same problem occurs. I have also tried Zoom cleaner but it didnt work. How do I solve this? Thank you!

I'm having a strange audio issue. I'm in a meeting where one user has a conference microphone in a room, and occasionally, the sound from the room starts repeating. As in, someone from the room will say "oh wow okay", and immediately after other users will hear "oh wow okay" again, identically, coming from the same room. Weirdly, it's not just the audio that's repeating - we're also seeing the repetition in the transcript: "0 wow, okay, oh wow, okay". It happens with incidental noises in the room as well. As far as we can tell, no other users in the meeting are having this problem when they are speaking. We fixed it once for the room by ending and restarting the Zoom meeting, but now after several restarts, we're still getting this repetition. I'm trying not to call it an "echo" because it's not like the feedback loop you'd get from a speaker getting picked up on a mic in the same room - it's sporadic repeats of words and sounds. Has anyone else ever run into this problem? Is there a better solution than turn-it-off-and-back-on-again?

The original sound for musicians is turned on at the beginning of the meeting/class that includes music in the background. During the meeting, this feature turns off on its own and searches for a different default speaker and microphone, which then disables the music for the participants. How can we stop this from happening?

I can't stand Team Chat.Ideally, I'd be able to disable Team Chat entirely—my team and I have absolutely no use for it, and I've gone as far as requesting nobody comment during meetings in the in-meeting chat to avoid further notifications. At the very least, I want to at least turn off the red notification bubble on the dock icon—I have enough already that are actually important, and having 99+ notifications on the Zoom icon is really not helpful. The only solution I've found is signing out entirely, which is annoying due to the NEW "You are chatting as a guest" notification which blocks the first messages in the in-meeting chat. (attached) Would love a solution to this—I am frustrated beyond belief by this new "feature". Please stop fixing things that are not broken.

First, trying to even make this comment was blocked because I had to select a "Board" in which to post it.
But, my issue concerns logging into my account....for which NONE of the boards listed were appropriate.
So, Zoom has forced me to select an incorrect board to begin with.
While I can log into my Zoom account normally using the Chrome and Edge browsers....I cannot log in using the Firefox Browser.
When I reached out to Zoom, I was forced to use their "chat support", which could not break out of its circular logic. As a result, none of the prompts it offered me were even nearly correct and I could not force it to break the cycle and create a new issue.
That said, it is obvious that changes within "either" Firefox or Zoom have broken the ability of Firefox users to log into Zoom accounts.
The suggestion "Use Chrome" or "Use Edge" is unacceptable, as I Choose to use Firefox and will not be told how to use my computer.
I expect Zoom support to work with the folks behind Firefox to resolve this issue
Sadly, I did open ticket TS1459185, but cannot check the status of that ticket because of the limits Zoom places on their support.
This is extremely annoying

Hi. I have a user that has the Zoom Workplace Business license and has created many invites using the Zoom plug in for Outlook for several years with no issues. However, recently, he sent an invite out to approximately 50 people for a single meeting and about 10% have reported that they received the invite as an email and not a calendar invite plus it didn't include the time or date of the meeting so they couldn't add it manually. The user is using Outlook 2019, with the latest updates, the latest Zoom connector and the recipients are using either Outlook 2019 or Outlook for 365. All users are on the same M365 tenancy. Any advise on resolving this? Thanks.

If I enable Meeting Summary with AI Companion, how can I also enable Smart Recording with AI Companion at the same time? I love the meeting summaries, but I also want to access the full transcript (With the Smart Recording features) but I can't find a way to do that, I can only pick one or the other. Any ideas?
