Physical pen to draw in zoom whiteboards
Is there a physical pen that I can use to draw in zoom whiteboards, instead of using the trackpad or the mouse?

I notice that no matter how I ask the question, the internet keeps responding by telling me about "Theme" and "Dark mode"!! My question is specific: Can you make the Whiteboard be a Blackboard like you can in Openboard? Yes or No. And if yes where is the instruction. If it cannot be done, then Zoom needs to say so, so that those of us who want that feature can get it elsewhere. Repeat, I am not interested in Dark mode, Dark Theme, etc. I am only interested in turning the Whiteboard into a Blackboard. I thank the Zoom community iin advance for their response.

The help says to press the select tool and then the grab (hand) tool. I don’t see the grab tool when I press the select bar or on the select bar. Can you help?
I have set up a number of whiteboards (have purchased the whiteboard add on license) and want to share the whiteboards in separate break out rooms. I want the groups to edit the whiteboards in the breakout rooms and bring them back to the main group. I have not been able to find out how I can share the whiteboards with the breakout groups, I am unable to share the link in the chat as the main chat is wiped when they go into break outs. If I send it as a broadcast message they can't click on the link. Even if I make it one whiteboard to share across all groups I can't not share it to the breakout rooms like you can with a shared screen. I have reviewed all similar questions in the community and have found no solution, I have done the training with no solution to this problem shown. Please advise.

We collaborate using a Zoom whiteboard, that has lots of small objects that we use to drag and drop into lists. It never consistently snaps to grid correctly, resulting in a messy looking board. Sometimes it will, but other times no matter how little you try to move them they never align. Anyone know a way to either turn off the snap-to-grid, or to get the objects to align correctly?

I created a whiteboard a few months ago that I have been using weekly in my meeting. Until today, participants have been able to see what I am typing in realtime and see when my cursor highlights words or sentences. Today however, they could only see the new information after I stopped typing and the whiteboard finished saving. I have checked that everyone has collaborator status, and the only thing that I have done differently was that I had shared the whiteboard with them and set them as editors. I tried changing their collaborator status, unsharing the whiteboard, closing the whiteboard and re-opening it. Nothing works.

I'm using a recent version of Zoom (Zoom Workspace). In my meetings I use whiteboards with animated GIF images and embedded YouTube movies, which play fine during the meetings. I also record the meetings to the cloud and then the GIF animations and YouTube videos are frozen images (So I do play them in the meetings, but they don't play in the recordings!) I suppose this a bug in Zoom recording/whiteboards, or is something wrong with my settings? Thank you! -R.L.

Hello, I always record my meetings and I often use whiteboards. I like the 'Laser' in the whiteboard to temporarily hightlight some part of the whiteboard while talking and referring to the highlighted area in my speech. However, when I later check the recordings, the laser is not at all visible in the video recording. I guess this is a bug, isn't it? Regards, -Rob.

When trying to create a new whiteboard I always get the message that I have reached the limit of editable whiteboards. A check for existing whiteboards shows that there are no whiteboards in my account. The message even shows the name of a whiteboard dated in 2023, which I can’t find. All existing whiteboards should be deleted so that I can start from scratch with 3 new editable whiteboards. I need the functionality and should be able to use it with my basic account.

I went to open my WhiteBoard that I have been using for the last 6 month to organize research and now all of the sudden it won't open. I received the error message: "There is an error loading recent version of the page. Use version history to recover previous version of the page." But I have looked everywhere and I can't find a version history link or button that will do this. I have also submitted a help ticket and I have gotten zero response. Can someone please help me recover 6 months of my work??
