I set up a meeting for someone with thier Zoom room link that has always worked fine. This particular meeting it said "waiting for the host to start the meeting" although he is the host using his own link. Aside from him potentially being under a different 'user' or email, what could make this happen all of a sudden? He has a waiting room enabled and that has not caused this before. Trying to trouble shoot to now how to fix this!

Good day,

We use Wolfvision Cynaps in our classrooms.  The systems leverage the Zoom Web App (Web RTC) to connect to Zoom. It has worked fine for the last 2 years (for the most part).  Today, I noticed that the "Share Screen" option is gone.  Not Good. I tried using the web-client on my desktop computer as well and saw the same thing.  I think this is a global issue. Anyone else seeing this?

Regards.

Starting yesterday, in every room of mine where the room PC has multiple Ethernet interfaces, the room controller iPad can no longer connect to the room PC.

My room PCs mostly have two network interfaces. One standard network with internet access and one local room network to control any display, projectors, etc. The room controller iPads are on the standard network. On the local network the room PC's IP address is 192.168.1.1. It appears as if the Zoom controllers (iPads) are trying to connect to the wrong IP (192.168.1.1) and failing.

Is anyone else seeing this? I've opened a ticket, but the only suggestion was to reboot the iPad.

But I've been using it for so long, now I want to buy it back for my school

If I have 4 locations in 4 different districts, I want to use zoom room to install to Desktop PC for each location

So I only need to buy 1 Zoom Rooms license and 1 Zoom Pro license (Because I have to buy it before buying Zoom Room), right?

Hi All,

AV Integrator but installed a Logitech Zoom TAP

NUC PC runs Zoom Natively

When the client runs a meeting in Zoom, all is fine (same for Google Meets)

When doing a Teams call via Zoom NUC (so joining a Teams call from the Logitech TAP), the Ceiling Mic Audio doesn't pass through (so teh far end can't hear anything)

I have tested Mic to DSP (metering and can hear it), DSP to NUC (via USB, working)

Is there a setting within Zoom admin portal that our global client needs to change?

DSP - Core Nano

Ceiling Mic - Shure MXA910

UC - Logitech TAP IP with Intel NUC

AVoverIP - QSYS NV Series

Thanks!

Your Zoom Rooms status has changed: Selected speaker has disconnected.

Good morning. I have several ZOOM ROOMS that show me this error about the speaker. They are rooms with different computers and different speakers. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Hello friends,

I have a bunch of digital displays that are strategically placed in public areas on my community college campuses. Right now I'm thinking of them as being digital bulletin board/campus map/which class in which room devices..

We have Yealink boxes on each.

I'd love to see some suggestions for how other folks might be using theirs like this.

Probably more importantly, I would love to know the easiest way to keep them updated with fresh info, most likely by staff members who are not super technical.

Specifically, is there a way to point a specific zoom room to a file in a Google drive for its content? I'm thinking the file would be a slide deck that my colleagues could open every morning and type in daily schedules/news/etc.?

  • are there any apps on the marketplace that make this kind of thing easy?

Thanks in advance. I'll try some things and post here if I come up with anything good!

Thanks any help that can be provided. Maybe I am doing something wrong - or maybe it is not possible? We are using a screen with Zoom rooms built in. Thank you
