zoom rooms and subaccounts

Hello, I have created several zoom sub-accounts for better licensing within the organization. I would like my zoom rooms already created within the master account to appear in the sub-accounts. Do you know if it can be done?

Looking to get information on when/how a camera make/model will be Certified by Zoom. I'm particularly interested in the new AVer TR535N dual lens PTZ Pro AV camera. Zoom has certified a number of other AVer models, and I'm just looking to get a gauge or information on how they choose the models to certify, and how long that process may potentially take. I'm currently testing this model and would love to be able to create/recall presets from Zoom, which is currently unsupported on this model. Thanks

Hello. It is required per California Code that all conference rooms with audio/video be equipped with an assistive listening system. I have a small, simple conference room with one screen, running a Zoom Rooms appliance (say, a Neat Bar or a Logitech Rally Bar).  I need this appliance to give me an aux audio output (e.g. 3.5mm jack) that contains the call audio that I can feed into the audio input of my assistive listening transmitter.

  1. So far I haven't found any all-in-one Zoom Appliance that has an aux audio out - do you know of any out there?
  2. If I were to use a dedicated computer (Logitech Roommate, Intel NUC, ...), would Zoom Rooms let me output call audio to two peripherals at the same time (1. USB audio peripheral for the room (a sound bar for instance), and 2. the front audio jack connected to assistive listening transmitter) ?
  3. Is my only choice to use an audio splitter after the selected audio output? This seems messy.

I hope this makes sense. Thanks so much!

Léo.

Hello,

My company recently updated a CRC license to our tenant.  While I see this purchase in the billing section I only see 1 CRC port in the tenant.

Does this take some time to replicate to the CRC ports or do I have to apply this license.  If I need to assign the license what are the steps to do so?

Thanks,

John Asche

Keeping control TCP connection alive via zoom room device profile JSON

We are using Zoom Room Controls to control a QSYS Core 110f. Every 60 seconds QSYS closes the connection as described here: https://q-syshelp.qsc.com/Content/External_Control_APIs/ECP/ECP_Commands.htm#:~:text=Note%3A%20An%20External%20Control%20clien... Show more

We are using Zoom Room Controls to control a QSYS Core 110f.  Every 60 seconds QSYS closes the  connection as described here:

https://q-syshelp.qsc.com/Content/External_Control_APIs/ECP/ECP_Commands.htm#:~:text=Note%3A%20An%20External%20Control%20client,get%20reclaimed%20by%20the%20Core.

Then the zoom computer instantly reconnects.  In the short term things work fine, however every few days it seems, something in the network stack of the QSYS core crashes and it needs a hard reboot.  I have experienced this with QSYS when there is a large volume of active sockets or high amounts of control activity.  I think there may be a memory leak in QSYS's network stack, or something of that nature.  Perhaps closed sockets are not getting properly deleted.  Unfortunately I cannot control that.

However I was wondering if there is a way to keep the connection alive so the logs aren't flooded with a reconnect every 60 seconds from zoom and there isn't the constant disconnect/reconnect. How can I have zoom send some data to QSC Core every 55 seconds?

Hello,

I am finding some of the guides difficult to find out some information.

I have a Zoom Rooms system, running on a Crestron flex base.

The client would like to add zoom whiteboarding functionality to the system, they are able to add whatever functionality is required in the back-end but are looking for advise on hardware.

Can this be accomplished simply by adding a second touch-display to the existing Crestron zoom rooms system - OR does this functionality require a separate zoom client (zoom rooms for touch) on the second display.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi All,

AV Integrator but installed a Logitech Zoom TAP

NUC PC runs Zoom Natively

When the client runs a meeting in Zoom, all is fine (same for Google Meets)

When doing a Teams call via Zoom NUC (so joining a Teams call from the Logitech TAP), the Ceiling Mic Audio doesn't pass through (so teh far end can't hear anything)

I have tested Mic to DSP (metering and can hear it), DSP to NUC (via USB, working)

Is there a setting within Zoom admin portal that our global client needs to change?

DSP - Core Nano

Ceiling Mic - Shure MXA910

UC - Logitech TAP IP with Intel NUC

AVoverIP - QSYS NV Series

Thanks!

We have encountered a slightly strange scenario with our Zoom Room's set up whereby, the active speaker window does not show the active speaker in that particular room.

Let's say we have a meeting room with 3 participants

Meeting Room A, which is configured:

  • To display a thumbnail view when no content is shared
  • To display a thumbnail view when content is being shared

Meeting Room B, which is configured:

  • To display a thumbnail view when no content is shared
  • To display a thumbnail view when content is being shared

User C, who is joining the meeting using the laptop and using the latest version of the Zoom client app.

All three users are connected to one common meeting, and all users are seeing the meeting in a thumbnail view with the participants at the top of the screen, and a large active speaker window below that.

The meeting begins and the presenter in Meeting Room A speaks, and then hands over to Meeting Room B and that speaker then speaks.

However, the audience see different things.

In Meeting Room A the audience sees the active speaker in Meeting Room B in the active speaker window - Which is the correct behaviour

User C sees the active speaker in Meeting Room B  in the active speaker window - Which is also the correct behaviour

Meeting Room B continues to see the active speaker as Meeting Room A which is the incorrect behaviour as they should be seeing the speaker in Meeting Room B since they are active, the thumbnail at the top of the screen also highlights Meeting Room B so recognises that this user is the active speaker.

Why would there be a case where the active speaker does not display in Meeting Room B?  This is the scenario that we have, and we cannot work out why this is happening.

Resolved! Zoom Rooms Controller - different network

Is there a way to persistently connect (pair) a Zoom Rooms tablet controller to a Zoom Room on a different network?

If the tablet is on WiFi and on a different VLAN and subnet for example?

Thanks,
