the virtual background option not available in my chromebook after many times pls help me
This started happening a couple of months ago. My high end podcasting microphone that connects to my MacBook Pro via USB stopped working well with Zoom. People told me I sound like a robot. I recorded myself and they are right. I sound fine when using Macbook's mic or my AirPods. I tried switching the USB ports, I switched from USB to USB-C. Still the problem persists. I updated the Zoom app the the latest. I restarted the MacBook. I've got strong Wi-Fi. This said, the podcasting mic works perfectly fine when I record to GarageBand or to PhotoBooth. But when I launch a Zoom meeting, then via the Zoom app I sound tinny. I go back to PhotoBooth and I sound amazing. I can't figure it out. What's up with Zoom? Any advice?

I am writing to report a problem with my camera display that occurs specifically when I am recording a Zoom meeting while screen sharing. When I share my screen and have my camera turned on, the camera feed appears correctly. However, when I start recording the meeting, the camera feed appears twice: once in the position I have set it, and again as a separate window, usually on the right side of the screen. Additionally, if I enable the "Hide Self View" option during recording, a gray square appears in place of the camera feed on my shared screen. This issue only occurs during recording; the camera display is normal during the meeting when recording is not active.

Good morning! First post here. It is sort of a "feature request" but also a pole to see if this is a need others can see. So, a lot of us use Zoom in professional environments where everyone is tech-savvy and this platform is a tool of the trade. I think we take for granted how much of the workflow has become unconsciously intuitive, like driving a car. But then there are common use-cases where most participants are very non-technical. A Zoom family reunion. A wedding. A funeral. A church group meeting. A community volunteer group. A local townhall meeting. Etc, Uncle Bob has to call someone for help if he accidentally changes his TV to HDMI 1 instead of 2. Mom and Dad use flip phones because smartphones are too hard. Billy has a mental disability is just learning to read and write after being homeless for several years. For these individuals, the more features and buttons and options they are presented with in the Zoom interface, the less usable it becomes for them. Then, once they finally become proficient-enough to use what they need, there is a Zoom product update, and everything moves around. Here is what would be great: A VERY SIMPLE interface that DOESN'T CHANGE, looks the same on ANY DEVICE, and has only the most COMMON features one would need to participate in a small, non-professional meeting. Is this a thing that could be done?

Effective with the update on 11/11/24, for iPad IOS, the original sound option is no longer available in the More menu when in a meeting. However, one can exit the Meeting, go to settings/audio and turn on original sound. Then, it will display in the More menu in a meeting.

I have have a user who cannot sign in with SSO. They are not making any error. I looked at a log and see that the NameID does not populate. I'm not on the team that would be able to check that on the network end. What do I need to be looking for on her account? Universal Principal Name?

Hello there, I'm experiencing issues on the Zoom app for quite a while now: whenever I'm in a meeting, the application freezes after a while and ultimately goes unresponsive and have to kill the task. Restarting makes it work flawlessly again until it decides to go unresponsive again. The time frames seems to be completely random, sometimes it freezes after 3 minutes, sometimes it endures 30 minutes without issues. What I have tried so far: - Updating all drivers - Turn of hardware acceleration - Running in admin mode See below for the crashrpt.xml that contains all of my relevant specs (even though it shows Win 10 in there, but I'm using Win 11 Home, build 26100):
- A complete reinstall (including deleting all temporary or cached files)

I use Zoom for a meetup group, and attend other zoom calls as well. I receive a notification whenever one of my calls will begin usually as soon as a person logs in. I also receive a summary of the content. The problem is that the "From" address does not reference my group, but has the name of another person who leads a call for something entirely different. The real email is ***********. It shows "person -different organization." I use an address on outlook but use apple mail on my mac. Is this an issue with zoom, outlook, or apple?

I teach flute lessons online. Last night and today, even though my students had selected the "ORIGINAL SOUND FOR MUSICIANS" ON, I could not hear their flute sounds. Is anyone else experiencing this issue today? Could it be server or update issues?
